The location is extremely hard to get delivery from anywhere and Uber's are not thrilled to come out after 5:00 as the Ferry shuts down and the driven path is through some sketchy areas. The actual bedrooms living space is beautiful but they need to do something about the bugs and the service/amenities. It's quite expensive for not having much other than the quite location. Hard to get groceries at all in the area. We were there for a wedding venue down the road... they really need to get some local establishments to deliver!

There is a playground and I've seen people fish here as well. It has connected waterways (similar to City Park) and connected "islands" you can walk on. There are picnic tables and benches scattered throughout and plenty of space. There are also (I think unmarked) trails that go through dense tree areas although I haven't explore those yet. If you live nearby or on the Westbank is it worth checking out Something to note is you have to pay to get in. I believe it 50 cents on week days and $1 omg he weekends. It is closed on Wednesdays too. They do have park hours so check that before you visit.

My few day's there have definitely made me a better pilot. I suspect their bayou based location made the training more enjoyable and more real-world-practical than just flying circles in and out of a large lake. I was very happy with quality of the instruction material, instructor professionalism, and the level of detail they covered. I would go back there again in a split second. I have already recommended them to members of my local pilot club. My only regret is I wish Yelp would allow me to rate them with more than 5 stars!
