The two hour tour went through many neighborhoods including the 8th ward, 9th ward, 6th ward, Uptown, Downtown, the Garden ward among many others. He conveyed the fascinating history behind each location. He stopped at a historic cemetery for a 10 minute walk around and later at City Park outside the Cafe Du Monde. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if Justin is your guide. They pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or location of your choice. We would go again if we came back later.

This is a great bayou tour. We purposely chose the warmest day of our visit after looking at the…read moreweather forecasts. I was worried that if it were too cold we wouldn't see too many alligators. The weather turned out to be perfect, in the low 70s, and we saw lots of alligators. There is a gift shop where you can buy drinks, snacks, and souvenirs. You can look around the property while you wait for here toward it again. There is a fenced pond rehabilitating injured alligators, a pool with baby alligators that they let you hold at the end of the tour, and lots of information about local wildlife. Our captain was fantastic. He gave us a lot of facts on the wildlife as well as history of the area. He was great at making sure everyone on the boat could see, as he would rotate the boat in a circle making sure everyone got a "front seat." He brought food out to the feeding sites of raccoons, squirrels, and wild hogs, which brought them all running. We saw an old trappers cabin, an old teepee made of palms, a mass grave, and the grave of the local video priestess that died in 1915. And, of course, the alligators. At the end of the thought, the captain showed us some of his pets--turtles, crawfish, and a baby alligator named Bruce, which we got to hold.

I called several times about the issue, and they allowed the landlord to just send his maintenance guy, which simply sprayed over the counter bug spray in the walls. The termites were swarming in the house and eating through the walls, and just before I moved out they sent me a paper saying they were raising the rent! They were aware of the issue when I moved in as the neighbors had been dealing with this for at least a year prior. They just patched it up, kept most of my deposit, and re rented it. It was so bad that my personal property was damaged inside the apartment. Beware if you rent from them.
