Purchased an AR upper from B&B on gunbroker.com. I then found out that they were out of town and not available to take payment and could not ship the item to me for a week or so. According to gunbroker policy the seller has four days to contact and arrange the transaction. No big deal. I cancelled my order, which I notified B&B about and they said that was fine. I then purchased the item elsewhere since it was a build I wanted to complete. I then get a notice from gunbroker that B&B had posted a non payment complaint and that I must pay them or my account will be suspended. I contact B&B and they proceeed to tell me that I must either buy the item or pay for their relisting fee or they would not remove the non payment issue. Ultimately B&B violated gunbroker policies and then tried to threaten me into buying the item or paying them off in order for them to remove the non payment complaint. I contacted gunbroker and they said that B&B violated policies and that I should absolutely not send them any money. Gunbroker.com then removed the non payment complaint. This unethical practice by B&B was surprising since they had a high seller rating. This led me to research how gunbroker's rating works. After 120 days any negative feedback is not counted. Also it is somewhat difficult to leave negative feedback. If you have an issue and if it is resolved, even though it is not to your satisfaction, you are not allowed to leave feedback at all. Additionally sellers can request gunbroker remove negative feedback and in most cases it would seem that gunbroker typically sides with the seller and will remove the feedback. Big volume Sellers account for the majority of gunbrokers profits and making sure they maintain high seller ratings ultimately helps their profits as well. I will say that I have conducted numerous transactions on gunbroker for the last two years and they have all been very positive. I would definitely steer clear of B&B and be skeptical of high user ratings. read more

Mr. Stark of B&B is a man of great character and integrity. In reading the past post, I really must side with B&B on this one, as he was clear as to he was out of town. When building a fine weapon Jc C, one should not be in that big of a hurry. I bought items through B&B also from Gun Broker, and also an outside of GB transaction. Both were a great experience, and very fail deals. B&B only deals in the finest of components, and they are WELL WORTH the wait. Thank you Mr. Stark for being there, and being fair. read more
