He told me what to look for if that didn't take care of it, and took care of me later when an adjustment had to be made. You may have to wait a couple days or so because he's always working on a line of cars, but it's worth it.

The third and final time I went in for services I left my car there & got really sick. I moved about two weeks later so obviously my address changed. I tried to keep in contact through phone but no one ever answered anymore like the first few times. I moved further away from that area so I couldn't just come to the shop normally as I usually would. Months later I see my car on sale at an auto lot. no calls back or anything after several voicemails even leaving my call back number I still received nothing.

I strongly recommend considering other options before taking your vehicle to D&R Automotive…read more My experience with their customer service and management was extremely disappointing. I called a few days before going in and was told to bring my vehicle in for the repair. I understood that the repair would take some time because a part had to be ordered, and I was completely prepared for that. When I arrived, however, the young lady in customer service was rude and told me, in effect, to take my vehicle and come back because I needed an appointment. This was frustrating because I had specifically called beforehand and was told to bring the vehicle in. When I brought the issue to management, my experience unfortunately did not improve. Cory, the manager, was also rude to me. Afterward, management sent me several text messages denying that the interaction happened the way I described it and stated that they had my voice and video recorded on camera. I was never informed that my conversation was being recorded. At this point, the issue isn't even just about the repair. It's about how I was treated as a customer and how the situation was handled afterward. Customers should not have to argue with a business about what they were told, nor should they be treated disrespectfully when they ask reasonable questions about their vehicle. Based on my experience, I will not be returning to DNR Automotive, and I cannot recommend this business to others.

It took a week before it was looked at, and a couple more days before it was ready. My car still was not idling right, so I took it to a different shop. Today I paid $102.17 to "relearn the idle". I did some research, and I found this procedure has to be done every time the throttle body is replaced. This is what they replaced, but they did not relearn the throttle. This error cost me $102.17.

I left the state to return home and within two weeks the transmission fluid was once again leaking profusely, and being out of state I had to have another mechanic once again re-do the job (properly this time). I've been trying for days now to work out a refund of the work Midtown Auto did, as it was done improperly twice and I've now had to pay someone else to fix their mistake, but despite all the promises of the mechanic calling me back, he never does. I'm still trying to get my money back from them, so I cannot recommend that anyone else spend theirs here. Edit: I did receive the refund finally, which is appreciated. However, the lack of professionalism in not returning my calls for a week and the work failing twice to the point of endangering my car still leave this shop as a Don't Recommend from me.
