I have bought from NAPA Jefferson and Metairie for years, not big stuff, wiper blades and other…read moreancillary items. I won't again. Today 4-20 approximately 135pm, on Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA. a small NAPA-labeled pickup was running a road race (or a facsimile thereof) southbound - high speed, swerving in and out, cut me off such that I had to brake hard, very annoying not to mention dangerous. A few minutes later at a light I dialed the Shrewsbury Store, asked for the manager, and was put on hold (after 9 rings) with one word "hold" for 27 minutes, no intermediate apology. I finally hung up and called back, another 6 rings, and got the same treatment - I hung up. I could not find an alternate number, nor could I find a contact email address, so here I am. However, I recently needed to install a no-sway weight distribution hitch on our newly acquired travel trailer, and the hardware (nuts & bolts) were bigger than anything I had in my limited tool set. As this hardware provided for a safer towing experience, I wanted to ensure I had the right sockets and wrenches for the hardware. Without even making a call, I knew NAPA would have everything I needed. I bought a 1/2" drive socket wrench, a 3/4" socket, a 13/16" socket, a 1-1/4" socket and a 1/2" drive 5/16" hex socket. I went to this location on 2 different locations in MAR 2021 and employees 44 & 36, whose names I cannot recall but were on my receipts, were both very helpful. I even bought a 1/2 drive impact socket for my travel trailer's lug nuts, as they are not included. Not knowing which size to get, I purchased 2 different sizes, did a dry fit, kept the 3/4" socket and returned the incorrect size. No muss, no fuss. Now I have the right tools for the job. They are quality tools and should last me a lifetime. The professionals here at NAPA treated me great and did not "judge me" on my lack of mechanical knowledge. I would definitely go back to this store if I ever found myself in need of high quality tools.

Last week I went into this napa store to buy some parts for my car. Ordered some shocks, control…read morearm, and some other small components. They had everything in stock but the control arm. No big deal I was expecting this. I ordered a driver side lower arm, after waiting a week for the part to come in, by mistake I was given the passenger side. Call the store up to speak with the manager, Ethan. He goes on to tell me that it's my fault and chargers me more money on top of what I had already paid. This confused me a little beings that I had already previously paid for everything! Went back to napa again on Saturday and spoke with a couple of other workers who I'm thankful were more than happy to help me. I go into detail on what has been going on and was simply told that I would need to come in Monday beings they don't have enough cash in the register to repay me. Now here I am going back for the third time after canceling my order just trying to get a full refund. Ethan the manager refuses to give me all of my money and eveything I stop him to ask a question he answers me real quick and continues to walk away as if avoid the situation. With all this said it bothers me that I have been using the same store for the past few years and am being treated like this. Again the other workers for the store are more than willing to help unfortunately I had a bad experience with Mr. Ethan and hope that he treats others better than the way I was.

They were kind, suggested that it was time to let it go, but agreed to work with me - I had a budget in mind. They worked within that budget and gave me a number of things to look for. Very kind, very supportive, but also kept me realistic. Highly recommend.

I would stay away as this repair shop is a money grab. I spent nearly $8k in a matter of three…read moremonths at this shop with issues still persisting. Initially, I brought my car there to get a diagnostic which it was determined my car essentially needed new brakes, rooters, hubs, etc. (you name it). My car is an 07 Camry, so I understood why the fixes were necessary. The issue came came afterwards, when it was shown that I needed to have repairs to the repairs they had made after I brought my car back for timing belt issues (which they did not diagnose initially). I brought the car back to get the timing belt issue resolved because the car continued to make loud screeching noises when I accelerated. After the timing belt was fixed, my car ran ok for another week then the starter and the battery went out on the car. I brought it back here after spending $8 over the matter of a three month period- they charged me for a diagnostic and told me I needed a new battery and starter now. I felt it ridiculous to have to pay for another diagnostic after spending thousands at this location in such a short window (mind you, this was summer 2025). The police was called and I still ended up paying for the diagnostic. About a week ago, I heard the screeching sound and my wheel is starting to vibrate rapidly again as I'm breaking which indicates the timing belt is still not properly repaired. When I called them back to look at the work they did on my car considering I am having timing belt issues again, they gave me a number to call and said I could not bring my car back to them. Y'all be careful and mindful of who you allow to work on your cars, not all business believe in integrity and customer satisfaction-this car repair shop is all about getting your money. I would stay far away from them!!!!!
