From day one I was hooked on the B1 Yoga studio. Owner/instructor Cally Burkle genuinely cares about each guest and their individual experience. The studio itself is in downtown Dubuque which gives it a great vibe to begin with. Warm, cozy lighting and varying levels of heat create a relaxing atmosphere. There are many different instructors and varying levels of difficulty, from deep stretch classes (yin), to basic flow classes to 75 minute, 103 degree sweat-fests depending on your level of desired intensity. Classes are offered throughout the day, including what my friends and I have affectionately dubbed "the nooner", which is a non-heated, 45 minute flow perfect for those on their lunch hour. I've been going here off and on for the past 5 years. All the trainers are welcoming, friendly, and willing to help anyone who needs it. They have the MINDBODY app so it makes scheduling your classes a breeze! Restrooms on site for showering are clean and I love the decor. read more
