Very poor experience for laser hair removal at Azul Medspa. My wife and I went through almost 12 sessions (per area) over the course of a year and it is almost like we did nothing at all. The hair growth is still the exact same. They promised to return our money back for a package we purchased and never used (over $1,200) and never ended up doing that claiming "the manager" ended up saying no. We were never able to reach that "manager". Absolute rip off. Would not recommend. read more

Work related- If you are looking for a job as a laser tech, MA, esthetician, or receptionist don't do it, the environment is so draining, the manager is the worst! She's extremely rude to workers and patients, she's constantly firing people, you will not last more than a couple months there unless you are a nurse, aside from them only hiring if you sign a CONTRACT. Don't let them fool you they are not trustworthy people at this location, no regrets in leaving you will thrive at a different job position ANYWHERE else. read more

I spent $1,800 and look worst now than before I went in. I wanted to improve the hollow look under my eyes and the nurse discouraged me from getting the treatment I was hoping to get. She recommended dissolving old filler under my eyes and afterwards wouldn't add new filler so my eyes look even more hollow now. She injected filler into my lips and after a few days I had blisters for about one week. The first 2 times I went I was seen by a nurse the 3rd time by an intern, she said the nurse was busy with patients! Am I not a patient too? Why did she schedule me for that day/time if she wasn't going to be able to see me??? read more

So very disappointed with azul med spa I booked what I thought was an online appointment , I received an email stating that they looked forward to meeting me, only to arrive and be informed I should have received a call. I did not get a call nor did I get my appointment that I moved several things at work around in order to make this appointment. I was asked to forward the email proving I had received it to a Ms Chavez ( the manager) I was then offered $150 off for my next appointment, which I cannot make because I will be moving. Offering a discount is often not the answer. People can make money, they cannot make time. read more

Just wrapped up my first session and everything was great. The staff is nice. The facilities are clean. I had seen previous bad reviews but they were old so I went anyway and I'm glad I did. The receptionist was nice and professional. My technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Anytime she saw me flinch (lower leg lasered) she made sure to stop and apply pressure which helped. My first time having lip fillers here and it was a nightmare- came out as if my lips had never been touched- now their saying it was impossible to do lips cheeks and so on with one syringe- so why was all the extra done when I went in for LIP Fillers- was told their terrible job would be done at no cost- went to my next appointment to have lips fixed and now charging me $150.00 - terrible customer service and very rude- they even threaten with authorities- for a job done incorrectly on their part in the first place- when you ask for lip fillers- that's what should be worked on LIPS read more

I've only been here once and I have no other experience with medical spas. My review is preliminary. After years of wanting to try laser hair removal, I decided to make an appointment at Azul MedSpa since there was a special deal on Groupon. During my visit I had a lot of questions and the esthetician answered all of them and was very knowledgeable. The facilities are very clean and the staff is very nice. The procedure on my arms was completely painless and fast. No other services/products were pushed on me even though I expressed interest in information about other procedures. Up until today I loved this place. They were so kind and wonderful but their manager Rebecca just ruined that. She takes me back 25 mins after my appointment was and seemed cranky I asked her what was wrong and she proceeds to tell me off calling me rude because someone who was late for this appointment and walked in at the same time I did was asked to wait so I could get in as I have work to get to. I have never in my life been treated so bad nor called rude for asking a very polite question. Needless to say I put my shoes on and left. They also refused to give me a refund for the services I paid for and will not be driving 45 mins back to use. Good job Rebecca someone should really train you in how to behave. How you ended up a manager when the 2 regular girls there are 100x better suited to the task than you are is amazing. read more

This place was good at first but then one experience completely destroyed that idea.... I went for laser hair removal and the girl with colorful hair was so nice. She explained the process and everything was fantastic. She wanted me to buy extra product (face wash) but I have very peculiar skin so I declined even explaining to her that I use topical medicine for acne. After I declined the extra product she said, "well whenever you want to look less ugly let me know." I try not to be obsessed with beauty and I prefer to try to be a good person, this comment completely devastated me though. The staff is friendly and very attentive; they ultimately make you feel comfortable during the sessions. I have been coming for my last 7 hair-removal sessions and am very happy with my results. Significant results can be seen after just one session. I originally started with just wanting my underarms but was so happy with my results that I continued onto having my legs, upper-lip and a Brazilian as well. Went here for laser hair removal. First impression - filthy looking table I was expected to lay on. Room temp is usually below 60 to keep the machine from overheating. I got full body so was asked to strip down. Most times they gave me a towel to cover myself but when there were no towels I had to cover myself with one of those puppy peepee pads. Despite being the "best candidate" for laser hair removal (dark hair/light skin) after 6 sessions my hair has grown back in full. Lastly, and worst of all, at my last session, they ran the laser over one of my tattoos causing a popping sound and open cut. The lady assured me it would be fine but it scabbed over several times and when it finally healed the ink was gone and left a scar. Please think twice before going to Azul Med Spa for laser hair removal. read more

I bought a Groupon to try out the services and the consultant/manager convinced me to buy a package, before spending such a large sum I asked if would be able to cancel and get a refund if I had to move ( I was expecting a job offer in the coming months) she said it wouldn't be an issue because they had military clients. Well the job offer fell through and now I'm moving but all they can offer is to transfer services... I want a refund and all of a sudden that's not an option. I had always told myself that I'd never go to a SPA. But with time going by and nature taking its course I needed to take better care of myself. I called Azul and made my first appointment, not really knowing what I wanted or needed I was very skeptical walking into an unknown environment. As I walked in I was greeted by the friendly staff and was seen right away. They gave me many options on the treatments and packages.
