When does that ever happen? Jay shows up on time with a smile. (When does that ever happen?) He took one look at my busted spring and said,"Yep, broken spring." He then explained that the builder had used the wrong spring for our door, which is common because they like to save money wherever they can. Jay then quoted a price below what I expected and that the job would be done correctly in 40 minutes. It actually took him 38 minutes. Bottom line, better service at a fair price done correctly and promptly.

I thought) Well...weeks later, they came out and installed a different unit...saying that "the guy who handles the warranty work had been sick", and that was why my calls and pleas had gone unheeded for weeks... Then, very soon after that unit was installed..I backed out of the garage into a terrible rainstorm and the garage door basically just buckled...it somehow stopped partway up (down?) and would not go any further up or down and so I put in a fairly frantic call to this company because there was stuff in the garage that I did not want soaked! They never answered. I left messages that were never returned. I finally had to call another company to come and fix the bent and stuck door...I thought that was pretty bad but then it got worse...the guy that came to fix the door put a strong light on the unit so I could see a small date...the "new" replacement installed was a 10 year old unit!!!! I wish the rating system could go beyond the stars..maybe a "run like the wind" rating? A "no stars" rating just is not quite enough....

Do not use this company. This is a franchise and the local owner WAY overcharged for unnecessary…read morework. They charged me $4474 dollars to replace two garage door units. We had a power surge in the neighborhood that knocked out several garage doors' memories. All that was needed was a quick easy memory reset and they insisted that the units needed to be replaced. Salomon was the technician and he is not an honest man. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

He came when he said he would and kept me up to date on the phone. He gave me just the right amount of information and was upfront with me about the issue; best part: he did not try to sell me a bunch of stuff I did not need!! He fixed the problem quickly and with ease. I can tell he is a nice guy trying to make an honest living to support his family. The company is locally owned and I like that. The owner's dad also has a garage door company, so it's a trade that's been in the family a while. I feel like companies like that this one are hard to come by these days.
