I returned the vehicle multiple times and made repeated requests for repairs. Over the course of several months, I personally demonstrated the issues to service staff, recorded conversations and incidents, and even installed a dash cam to document the ongoing problems. Despite all of this, the dealership refused to repair the vehicle. As of July 1, 2025, the dealership has still refused to release the vehicle's service records. When the co-owner requested them, they were told "we don't have any," despite the vehicle spending multiple days -- even weeks -- on their lot. Do NOT purchase from this dealership. They will: Refuse to perform repairs -- even those covered under a valid factory warranty Refuse to honor service contracts Deny ever working on the vehicle Blame the customer for "user error" instead of addressing real mechanical issues Let me be clear about the individuals involved: Stephanie Johnson (Service Dept): Offers no assistance and passes customers off to a service manager who lacks knowledge or initiative. Alan Whitson (Service Manager): Refuses to take responsibility, denies valid concerns, and places blame on the customer. Tommy Taylor (General Manager): Acknowledged the issue and even said they would "just go ahead and replace the radio" -- which was never done. Nancy Kern: Handled communication with the DMV during the formal complaint I filed. After that, the dealership refused all service, claiming that I had "taken legal action" simply by initiating the complaint. This dealership is not trustworthy. In fact, they went so far as to issue a criminal trespass warning against a disabled veteran -- solely to avoid making necessary repairs. They ignore warranty obligations, avoid accountability, and withhold documentation that customers are legally entitled to receive.

The vehicle we were in had it's fuel system break down, stranding us about 20 miles outside of Kenedy, Texas. My mother contacted AAA to use her membership benefits. After about 2 hours and multiple calls, AAA was unable to get their dispatch to contact their contract company 181 Wreckers, to send us a tow truck. We contacted 181 ourselves, and they kept telling us that AAA hadn't put an order in, and even then they would only take 1 passenger with them, forcing us to ABANDON THE OTHER 3 PASSENGERS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN THE TEXAS HEAT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. When we tried to explain to 181 Wreckers that we were two small kids, a 70 year old woman, and a diasabled person, and we couldn't just leave 3 of us behind, they grew snarky and angry with us. After literal hours on hold with AAA waiting to speak with a supervisor (who never actually called us back like promised) we contacted Alexander Ford in Kenedy. In less than an hour, they had us picked up, towed, and were working to diagnose our vehicle, working us into their already packed service schedule. They treated us warmly and courteously, offering hospitality, cartoons for our kids to watch, and even a ride to get food from a drive thru while we waited. Within 4 hours, they had our everything diagnosed, picked up the replacement part, and repaired our vehicle. We were back on the road before the end of the afternoon. The costs for their services and repairs were fair and reasonable as well. Thank you everyone at Alexander Ford! Screw you AAA and 181 Wreckers!

Is it possible to have a flawless experience and defy all stereotypes when buying a car? If you…read moredidn't think that was possible, then think again. If you are in the market for a Ford, (if you aren't, then reconsider), hop in your car and make the beautiful drive out to Kenedy, TX where you will find a quaint, family owned dealership where you will be treated like family. I purchased a certified pre-owned Ford Edge from this dealership, worked directly with Yvonne and had the best car buying experience ever. My experience has made me LOVE driving a Ford and hope to again in the future. I want all my family, friends and fellow Yelpers to have this same experience! I have no doubt you will also have a honest, friendly, ethical and fair purchase from this dealership that you will not regret!

Unfortunately, I don't think we could have had a worse experience. The salesman knew we were coming and knew which vehicle we were interested in, but it appeared that nothing had been done to make the vehicle ready for us. It was dirty inside, which was annoying, but more importantly, the tire low pressure light was on. The salesman assured us had already driven the vehicle, but he didn't think to air up the tires? When asked, he said it was temperature fluctuation...really? In summertime? Give me a break. We had a trade-in - the tool on their website estimated $3,700 but the best we could get was $1,500. Fine, it's an old car, I understand, but it's clean with no accidents and we had the title. Felt weird to be lowballed by so much. The purchase price was obviously a scam and what they advertise online is just to get people to the dealership. We were told there would be $5,000+ of dealer fees for "reconditioning" and "MTAG" which was explained as a "clear coat that will last through all 4 seasons." This is the most stereotypical, sleazy, used car salesman line. In fact, in the movie Fargo, the car salesman is berated by a customer for a clear coat! There was no evidence of any reconditioning, and furthermore, this was a 2022. It was not some beater that had to get new paint or change a transmission. It's just markup. All that to say, they had a potential buyer ready to go. We had our financing already in hand. We were at the lot. We were offering a solid trade in. But the salesman couldn't close the deal and when it became obvious that we were going to leave, he tried to pressure us into staying. "You drove all this way, and you're really going to walk out the door?" he asked as we stood up. The answer was absolutely yes. We'll keep searching for an honest dealership that isn't trying to play games.

I haven't been disrespected nor has anyone been mean to me but I bought a 2019 Ford F-150 3 months back and have had nothing but issues. I got a mopar 1 year 12k mile warranty and was told take your truck to any dodge dealer if you have any issues and they will take care of you, this was their way of making me feel comfortable when I asked if my mechanic could look at it for one day. but when I tried the dodge dealer they say the only thing they service is dodge not any other make. When I looked at the truck I knew it had cosmetic damage. Some clear coat missing on the hood as well as 2 really small dents in the driver door. But my salesman told me that everything mechanical was sound and was really confident about that. Whenever I test drove it I noticed the mirror was really Wobbly and pointed it out to the salesman and he said that it was normal. Also I had to move stuff from storage to my house and the tail gate wouldn't work not only did I have to rent a U-Haul trailer I had to spend $500 to get my tailgate fixed because no dodge dealer ship will work on my truck even though they gave me a MOPAR (Dodge) warranty and I had to spend almost $300 to fix my mirrors witch was in fact not normal. And ever since I've had the truck the front end has been clicking really loud occasionally whenever I turn left or right.. To get suspension and alignment done is insanely expensive and was quoted 1200 for parts and labor! Now I have to pay that out of own pocket due to some salesman and finance manager trying to meet his mark this dealer is very disingenuous and only care about making their sale.
