Everyone to help were female and extremely compassionate and competent. The vet techs were friendly and knowledgeable and my cats have always been treated very well. They treated our Titi so well when he held to be held over the weekend, and allowed us calls and checkups to see how he was doing. They were all so sweet and let us know how much they loved him. I recently had to put a stray I had been caring for down and they were so kind and patient and even recognized my mom as Titis owner. It felt like they really cared. They explained everything and got him cleaned up so that he could have a dignified farewell. We got his clay paws and they gave us two cards for both my boyfriend and I (we didn't know they'd do this and it was such a thoughtful thing to do) with an ink print of his little snout on it along with some signatures. My only negative experiences have been with the purple haired girl there. She is usually sitting at the desk. The way she speaks to pet parents there is appalling. I've watched her flat out ignore customers if they are not standing exactly where she wants them in line, cut people off, and just be extremely rude as well as not relaying necessary information until prompted. I understand needing to be firm and calm in stressful situations, but the other workers there can do it without belittling and making just nasty and unnecessary comments. She was being so unpleasant to the people in the waiting room regardless of what they were there for. I couldn't believe her lack of decency and talent for escalating calm and respectful situations to anger and irritation.

Around 8pm on march 21st my cat started having trouble breathing and she started convulsing. She wasn't breathing until my brother would shake her to start breathing again. We rushed her to this emergency clinic but she sadly passed away in my brothers arms in the car just two minutes from the clinic. The team was fantastic. One of the members there who took my cat to the back let us stay there for as long as I needed and didn't judge me for crying loudly. My mother paid $600 in total for my beloved cat to be cremated and to have a clay print of her paws which in my opinion is a great price. About a week(ish) later we got to pick up her ashes and the clay print we were promised and I believe the team went above and beyond. I received a card with the team's signatures and a certificate of cremation.

I contacted Lander Vet Clinic after hours and despite the holiday weekend, Dr. Blaine Melody immediately responded, evaluated the herd, conducted Diagnostics and quickly developed a care strategy. Dr. Melody located enough medication, and we were able to inoculate the entire herd all in the same day. Dr. Melody was fully focused and engaged on providing the best care possible and proactively followed up with us later with additional information and care strategies. Lander Vet Clinic and Dr. Melody are truly a class act.

Dr. Tia unclogged the teat, found the lump to be an abscess that she quickly took care of, and explained everything beautifully to my 10 year old daughter. My daughter was so worried about mama and baby that she was in tears. Dr. Tia did a quick well check on baby and assured my daughter that all is well now. My daughter then cried happy tears. Thank you Dr. Tia for taking the time to explain everything to my daughter, and for being so great with our babies! Mama Iris and baby Ivy are so much happier now that you've worked your magic on them! I will definitely be back when the need arises.

For the first dog, I was called right before surgery and told her heart rate was a concern and they would not proceed unless I paid for additional testing or signed a high-risk waiver. I then took her to another vet who said she was healthy and cleared for surgery. For the second dog, I again received a call right before surgery saying there was another issue, this time about retained baby teeth, and that the staff member who handles that was unavailable. I was told the recommended option was to take her elsewhere so she would not need anesthesia twice. I followed that medical advice and took her home. No surgeries were performed on either dog. Despite this, the clinic refused to refund my deposits and blamed me for "not following through with services." I understand that medical concerns can come up, but being notified at the last minute twice, having no procedures done, and then being told my money will be kept is unacceptable. This does not feel ethical or fair, and it is not how a professional veterinary clinic should treat clients who are trying to do the right thing for their pets. I would strongly caution other pet owners to ask detailed questions about their deposit and refund policies before booking, and to be prepared for last-minute changes that may still cost you money.
