On Father's Day we had to make the painful decision to have our golden doodle Sawyer euthanized…read moreafter a week of struggling after he was diagnosed with metastatic cancer of his spleen. We contacted Angel Veterinary Services at 5:00 am and left a message that we need assistance with transitioning our puppy to a better place. We immediately received a call back from their offices letting us know Dr. Alexis and her assistant, Rhi were available at 11 am to come to our house and euthanize our puppy. We were heart broken with having to make this decision. When Dr. Alexis and Rhi arrived at our house they met us at the front door with so much love and compassion that we knew Sawyer would be in good hands throughout this process. While our hearts were broken, Dr. Alexis helped us feel like we made the right decision and Sawyer had transitioned to a much better place. OVer the next couple of days, we recieved so much support through Dr. Alexis and her team that made us feel so much better and we know our Sawyer is no longer suffering and in a much better place with our previous puppy, Mona Lisa and our family in heaven.
