Brought iPhone in after buying a faulty screen online. The price to switch it out with another one…read moreon the spot was like $10 more than buying a new screen online, so I went for it. This newly switched screen had a defect that was difficult to put my finger on (turned out to be ghost touch), so I tried it out for a week or two to pin it down. Then I brought it back to this shop. As soon as I said the screen wasn't behaving normally, Elite Cell Phone Shop switched it out with no questions asked, no charge. They care about their customers. Screen works well! Thanks!

My daughter's gaming PC started having problems that looked like a failing graphics card. I tried…read morethe usual fixes ie drivers, software, and basic troubleshooting, but I did not have the time or a spare part to swap in myself. A quick search for computer repair in Spanish Fort, Alabama led me to ProTechs. After reading other reviews, I contacted them, spoke with Jon (Jonathan Vaughn), and dropped the PC off. Jon diagnosed a bad GPU and found that the card was still under warranty. He asked whether I wanted to handle the warranty claim myself or have ProTechs take care of it. I chose to let him handle it and sent the information he needed. Throughout the process I received clear updates, including any delays. Warranty work is rarely fast, but Jon stayed on it. After the replacement GPU arrived, he installed it, set the system back up, and ran a final test. Everything checked out. Total cost for diagnosis, warranty handling, GPU replacement, setup, and testing: $160. I cannot recommend ProTechs in Spanish Fort enough for gaming PC repair, graphics card replacement, and warranty work. Honest communication, fair pricing, and the job done right.

I'm sorry it's taken me this long to write a review because I promised about a year ago that I…read morewould do this. The problem was that my phone wouldn't charge. I started with the Apple Store to fix my iPhone 6. They wanted some obscene amount of money that I can't remember now exactly, but it was a three digit number that started with a 1 - let's say $120. So I left. The next day at work, a friend at work told me about Quick Fix and how they'd fixed her screen for about half the price that Apple wanted. I can't remember his name now - let's say Chris - took the phone at Quick Fix and thought maybe the charging port was filled with gunk and lint - he said the technical term was "crap". So he got to work with some tweezer looking thing and lots of canned air and about five minutes later, he said it was charging fine. He asked if I wanted him to charge it all the way up, but I was in a rush and just asked what I owed. Chris said nothing. It was on him because it was an easy fix. He just asked me to post a review somewhere on the internet. And now I finally have. Luckily, I haven't had to go back for any other issues, but I know where I'll head first if I ever need iPhone service again.
