I have great experiences with Elite Dental. I've been having two different procedures, root canal & implants. Each specialist have been caring and gentle doing the work as well as the technicians. The office stuff is welcoming & friendly. My kudos to the manager, doing her best to get the insurance to pay for services. It happened with me and I witnessed doing the same for another patient. Avoid this place at all cost . Nothing elite about them . Outright, incompetent doctor. I went to elite to change doctors since my doctor missed two cavities in tooth #19 & #30 and I was referred to a lead by my insurance. I made the appointment and they requested any X-ray that I have and doctors report. I emailed it to them. Supposedly X-rays we're not clear so they had to take new x-rays. I saw the doctor after the x-rays and she did multiple tests on where the pain is and she said no it's your number 31 tooth that is giving you the problem and we need to do a root canal on it despite the previous doctor in Decatur think that it is tooth number 30 anyway They scheduled a day for the root canal and on that day a different doctor was there to perform the root canal. Prior to the root canal he did several tests and he disagreed with his own office doctor that it is actually too is number 30 is the problem not 31 as his office doctor indicated, however, since then sure is approved a root canal on number 31 and number 31 has a chip in it might as well replace it. This is where I blame myself for agreeing. Root canal was done on 31 which was a perfectly good tooth that had no issues. After the root canal, they asked me to come back in a couple of weeks to put in the permanent crown. I should also mention that they tried to sell me on graft for my gum line. I'm glad I declined . During the time I was waiting for the permanent crown to be made the temporary fill out and I called the office and they told me to put in toothpaste to hold the temporary. Honestly, I thought it was a joke, but the lady was serious and when I told the doctor what happened she was this doesn't work. On the day of the placement of the new crown, I told the doctor how weird it was that she said that number 31 was the issue when her own doctor disagreed with her she did not respond anyway the crown was placed by her assistant and that was it . Three weeks later, I started having swelling in my cheek and tremendous pain. Frankly, I had no confidence in this doctor, so again contacted the insurance, and I was referred to another Doctor Who referred me to a specialist and you can see from the report below screenshot there's a gap under the crown when they placed it that is encouraging bacteria growth. He also said that it is number 30 that is causing the initial problem for me and needed a root canal which he did. I went back to elite dental and informed him of what happened and showed her the report and she started blaming everybody but her office and she told me to take care of number 30 then come back. Never again when I go back to the incompetent office. read more

Stay away from this place! I went for an initial visit & based on what they said I had to get a re-treatment they told me they will send it for authorization to my insurance & let me know once it got approved! Then we found out the insurance does not approve until we do the job, I had an appointment scheduled had to cancel it & reschedule however, I could not make it to the rescheduled appointment and did not confirm, they pushed my appointment to May 5th saying they were booked the whole month of April, I asked them how much I would have to pay if my insurance does not cover it, they said $485, then they called today saying that my insurance is not going to be covering it & if I want to pay out of pocket they have a promotion & it's $1200. Stay away from this place! Take your money & time somewhere more professional! read more

Instead of just saying I need a root canal the Dr gave me a thorough exam and determined I didn't need a root canal, but needed to have some crowns replaced. Honest, clean and professional. I have to agree with all the one stars and very same story. I never got a cleaning, Doctor said I needed root canals, new caps, and they have to put me under for several hours for the deep cleaning. I was scared and I would advise anyone not to go and really check Yelp or Reference before hand. I had a amazing doctor and he retired, so that is why I went to Elite Dental in Laguna Hills. It was all a fraud and will be doing do due diligence to report, and protect those who do not go through what happen to me. read more

Experience my father had: Refused to request medical for root canal coverage. Another dentist offered and even said before mentioned and that they will try again if denied. They are really nice to you until you say no to implant. Then they will turn 180 into bitches. My experience: Crown fell twice within 6 month of getting it. 2nd time doctor changed. Avoid Dr. Kim. No coming back. This doctor, Dr. Kim, has poor bedside manners and was very rude to the patient. The patient made an appointment for a regularly teeth cleaning and X ray following the previous director's instructions. Dr Kim completely changed the scope of service and ordered the patient to leave the office because the patient questioned the change. Here were exactly what she said during the appointment: "I will not do teeth cleaning for you today. I make decision, not you!" " please leave!" While the appointment was made for the purpose of cleaning, she was looking for more ways to bill. Super rude. Just avoid her. She has zero respect to patients and their time. I have been to so many dentists these last 7 months and no one has took the time to thoroughly inspect what's going on with my tooth pain. Dr. Bob Yu at Elite Dental Group has been incredibly understanding and thorough in his work. I haven't been able to sleep or eat for almost 7 months and have had x-rays done at 4 different dental offices now. Dr. Yu even noticed other issues wrong with other teeth without me mentioning anything. He has kept a close eye on everything and not performing unnecessary work just to bill insurance. Staff is amazing. I don't understand why people are saying they are bad. They explain everything to me and show me with evidence through X-rays and pictures. They treat me with the most respect. I don't believe the other reviews! I feel like the bad reviews is only because they are told something they don't want to hear. But that's life, either you own up to your mistakes and try to fix it or stay victimized and blame everyone else. Either way just go to another dental office if you don't trust them. It's that easy. I really like Dr. Garabedian. He is really professional and gentle with extraction procedure. If you have dental phobia , he makes sure to check up on you every 10 minutes to see if you're doing okay, just what I expect from a dentist , caring and always put patients' safety first.
