I think a lot has changed since the first 2 reviews given in 2019 and 2020. It is now 8/2023. I said I wanted an estimate to repair my chimney from the roof line up. Segundo called and said he would come up on Sat. 8/12. We weren't home but he came when he said. he called from the house. Estimate, $1,700 including parts and labor. I took it. I had 3 previous estimates, $4,000, $2,900 and $1,8500. I took the last one but after 6 weeks, the man never showed up. When I called, he was too busy to to do my chimney. Segundo said he would be up on the following Wed. At 8:30AM he was there with his 4 sons. I can't praise them enough. The scaffold was up within 1/2 an hour. The work they did, scraping wherever needed, cementing where needed and filling a hole in the old cement that was crying out for a repair. When that was done, they cemented over the entire work area. Then they sanded everything and used a leaf blower to get rid of the dust. Finally, they painted. I can only appraise what I saw. They were professionals. They worked throughout the day without taking coffee breaks. They knew what they were doing and when they finished, my chimney looked brand new. And they cleaned up everything, all the debris that fell on the grass below. What more can I ask for??? I believe I received much more than the $1,700 I paid. I originally contacted A-Z Chimney for an estimate on repairing our chimney. Segundo came out and gave us pricing for repairing and for replacing the chimney. We chose to replace it. This was on a Thursday evening. They were here Friday morning before 8am, scaffolding within 10minutes and got to work. They had the chimney torn down and rebuilt and completed the job Saturday afternoon. The job was so good that we had them replace our roof and gutters next. Segundo gave us a price Saturday afternoon after the chimney was completed, we agreed and he said they would start the work Tuesday. They were here before 8 am and the job was done in 4 days. They literally took the roof down to the rafters and built everything back up. They did such a great job. We are completely satisfied with the quality of work. If you're looking to spend too much, and have endless headaches....hire them. I wish I read prior review before I made a mistake of calling. Same, negative experience. Initial quote was fair, but quickly escalated - "this needs to be replaced, that needs fixing..." Etc. Plus since I have them down payment, endless delays and lame excuses. I cannot I good conscience recommend them to anyone. Save money, headache, aggreviation and look elsewhere. Avoid at all cost! read more

Beware.. it is a trap. They will initially quote you a "better" deal to make you agree to do the project. Before you know it, they will keep adding to the amount because they will add things "needed" to be done after the fact you agreed upon but it ended up as a trap because they already started the job. Also, they demanded that I pay them in cash. Initially they accepted the check but since it took 3-5 days to clear in their bank, the owner kept harassing me on the phone and saying that I need to find out why the money is not in his account? No one should ever be harassed like that if they are a real professional and legitimate. After they got the entire payment, they left some trash and I had to call the owner to correct that. The gutter that they added to the price (as an add on to the original contract) after they had installed the roof took a while to get installed and they did not even complete the gutter guards as promised. I just found out that they only put the gutter guards on the areas I can immediately see and the rest was not done. Right of the back, I should have followed my hunch not to hire them in the first place! They lured me to the trap because they gave me a cheaper quote initially but ended up paying more for a substandard job. read more
