The surroundings were beautiful and I learned more about the mental and physical preparation required to step up my game. The team building skills taught me to trust my new teammates in a short amount of time and after a couple days; we trusted each other on and off the field. I played a season of women's league soccer here. My team was full of rookies, myself included, so…read morewe didn't set the bar too high for our success. Registration for the team was done online and wasn't too complicated. Before our first game we had to obtain players cards - the process was easy and only took a few moments. It was also easy to get another later in the season when I lost my original one (whoops!). You are required to give the card to the employee out of the field before the start of the game so they know that every player on the turf is registered. We played the full season and our games ranged from around 6PM to as late as 10PM. 10PM is brutal especially during winter. It was freezing outside and freezing inside. No matter their efforts the field area is still quite cold. My team and I warmed up in the bar area but a dedicated warm up space would be really nice as the bar area was quite crowded most times and made finding a place to stretch hard. We didn't have any of our games rescheduled so I appreciated that as I was worried we may face that concern. Luckily our schedule remained the same throughout the season. I will say as a new player the inconsistent refs were a challenge. One game a penalty would be called, the next nothing. One game they would add players based on the time elapsed and the score, they next they would tell us that only happens in the children's leagues. Not very helpful for those of us brand new to the game and trying to learn the rules and flow. I will say what I appreciate the most about this place is how understanding they were. I was asked to play on a team the following season and after one game realized it wasn't a smart move for my foot. I called and explained my situation and the employee was nice enough to refund my money for the season and let me off the hook of playing. That was very kind. I got a check in the mail about a week after I called and I was grateful for how easy they made it. I appreciate the customer service and it kind of out weighs the awkward parking, cold field and inconsistent refs.

There is also league play and every time I've been there is always a match going on. Another great perk here is the bar and "lounge" area where you can sit and enjoy a game or watch current soccer matches on the big screen. They have a good selection of beers on tap and even serve hot food and snacks. They have complimentary wifi which is a huge bonus since I've actually gotten work down while waiting for my son. I recommend Reno Sportsdome for all ages and suggest checking it out if you are at all interested in year round sports.

My wife bought new boots, not at this store, and had problems with the fit. Brent bent over backwards to help her out and after several adjustments over multiple visits they now fit her perfectly. He is one of those boot fitting geniuses, that the Tahoe area needs. I have talked to him multiple times about skis and bindings and he really knows his stuff. If you need any help with ski equipment, or skiing, he is also a youth team coach, Brent is your man. Blue zone is lucky to have him.

This is the kind of camp that makes me wish I could be a kid again. No really. After picking up my…read moredaughter here this summer, I have total camp-wayback-jealousy... whatever that means. OK - What it means is this: I want to be a kid and go to a camp in the Sierras, where I get to live in a cabin in the woods, with my friends, sing songs around the campfire at night, eat great food, swim in the river during off hours....and Oh Yeah - Play soccer twice a day with guidance from professional-grade coaches from around the world (mostly Europe.) And then end the week with a "World Cup" playoff where each training group forms a team representing a different county. Why didn't they have this place when I was a kid? Oh wait, they did. Two Rivers has been around for 42 years now. My daughter has been lucky enough to enjoy visits over two of them so far. My visit here blew me away. Not only did the camp owner greet me and chat with me in the parking lot, he stood up during the closing ceremonies and spoke fondly of the counselors and the soccer family they've built here. Many of the trainers and counselors are repeats (with one coming back here for 17 years straight). During some of the example campfire songs and tributes from the staff, the owner became a little choked up and had to pull out a tissue. It was very sweet. My daughter had a great time and made some great memories. I hope the soccer bug stays with her and she decides to return again next summer. If she does, maybe I'll get her an oversize bag so she can sneak me in.

Snacks, drinks, toys, etc. There was a food truck in parking lot for those wanting a bit more than arena food. There were bleacher seats to sit on or a balcony area (for a higher ticket price). There is a bar that I didn't go to. A few local vendors selling random items behind the bleachers. The audio/visual system worked well enough to hear the announcements and see the scoreboard.

Usually if you fight in a game you're not allowed to play and are suspended but if you're family rules don't apply to you! As for the fields they're always in terrible conditions because they do tend to have bailes, events, parties, anything really the night before games which leaves them little time for a quick clean up which really doesn't do much. Just a heads up NEVER expect a refund for ANYTHING from these guys.

Classes are 45 minutes long and the coaches are great! It gets the kids energy out as it not only is physical but with toddlers it teaches them to listen and follow directions! They teach them warm up drills, color matching, run after hula hoops, kicking the ball, stacking cones and knocking them down with a ball. Every class is different! Is toddler-parent centered so you get to be in the field with your little one! You pay annual fee and then you pay a separate fee for the season such is about 2 months long. This can all be found in their website. Once walking into the sportsdome you are greeted with people watching from the outside looking into the different games, kids and their patients sitting at tables eating, or just hanging out. On the left side is a big indoor field and the right the field is divided in half with a net, that is where soccer sprouts is held! If you continue go to straight you pass by the hangout which serves food and at the end you'll see the basketball courts. Living in reno this is a facility to host outdoor sports inside! It is a big facility to host different sports or even events! Parking is spacious which is nice compared to the north location. We are happy that this location is close to our home!

He got a kick trainer for his birthday and it broke on the first day. The salesman that was sorta hovering and eavesdropping - popped out when we discussed the kick trainer and said "We don't have much soccer stuff. All there is are soccer balls." Then, to my shock, he recommended the competitor in town. Weird. So we went to the soccer section and whaddya know, kick trainer is there (along with many other options for a soccer kid). Before we found it another sales associate came over and said that there is "nothing really for soccer. We are out of shin guards and there's only a few balls. While he discouraged us from looking - I found it!! Wow. The inventory was pretty light, but not as light as the associates thought it was I guess. We asked about a couple of other things (I know what you are thinking - WHY?) in hopes that we would save time without searching. Sales Associate #1 told us they "haven't had live bait in months. I can't even remember the last time we did." Again, he recommended Sportsman's Warehouse. The only reason we would come back here is that they are priced below many other places. He did get most of what we came for - but not because of the employees. We'd have bought everything elsewhere if we had listened to them. Not a huge deal but hygiene was a definite challenge for Associate #1 as well. It was off putting when he smiled.
