I recently lost both my father and best friend and since then I have barely been able to look in the mirror... I was wearing the face of grief. When I went home my teenage daughters (who had no idea I was doing this) said, "Mom! You must have had a great day! You look so happy!" I didn't go for the fountain of youth, (which they certainly can and do provide), and while I am still grieving, I am so very glad I'm not wearing it on my face.

I had an appointment with Zahra Saranjam on July 8, 2026, at BabyFace Scottsdale Med Spa. I…read morereported my symptoms directly to Evolus, and a formal case was opened. At my appointment, I clearly explained multiple times how my facial muscles behave, how they've responded to neuromodulators over the past 8 years, and that under-treating or unevenly weakening the muscles causes compensatory contraction and headaches for me. considering I've never needed anywhere close to 92 units to achieve a good result, I'm concerned that the treatment I received may not have matched the dosing we discussed during my appointment. My glabellar complex and forehead were not effectively treated despite receiving a total of 92 units of Jeuveau. There is still uneven muscle activity. The right corrugator muscle appears stronger than the left. When I raise my eyebrows, there are painful horizontal forehead lines. Since the injections, I've had a noticeable bump in the center of my forehead whenever I frown, which looks like compensatory frontalis contraction. The muscles along the eyebrow are left untreated. They are wadded up and activated. When I frown, there is still a noticeable depression and a deep vertical line between my eyebrows. Not only does my glabella still look very active, but the corner of my mouth hasn't changed at all and is still being pulled downward. There is still a visible groove extending from the corner of my mouth toward my jawline. Also, I still have multiple lines around my eyes, the jelly roll under my eyes not only hasn't improved but looks even deeper than before; if one muscle is relaxed, the opposing muscle will work on its own and new wrinkles may appear. and I still have prominent bunny lines. My gummy smile hasn't improved at all, and there's no change from the lip flip either. I've experienced persistent frontal headaches since the treatment due to compensatory muscle overactivity caused by uneven neuromodulation. I can still palpably feel and voluntarily contract the procerus and corrugator muscles, as well as frontalis fibers above the brow. Following the injection, I developed asymmetrical frontalis activity after 92 units of Jeuveau! Given that I was told that I received 92 units, this degree of asymmetric muscle recruitment and lack of improvement is not a reasonable or acceptable outcome. I came to your practice expecting treatment that met the standard of care discussed during my consultation. Unfortunately, the outcome has fallen significantly short of what was represented, and I'm disappointed with the results. Given the outcome with 92 units of Jeuveau, my ongoing symptoms, I no longer have confidence in returning for additional treatment or a follow-up. I paid $938 for 92 units of Jeuveau, yet I did not receive the outcome that was represented or reasonably expected under the standard of care. At this point, I am requesting a full refund of the treatment fee. If we're unable to reach this resolution, I'm fully prepared to pursue all available legal remedies to have this matter addressed appropriately.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience…read more I drove over 35 minutes to this med spa, then spent another 15 minutes trying to locate the office because of how difficult it was to find. After finally arriving, checking in, and completing all of the required paperwork, I was brought back to the treatment room and was literally lying on the bed ready for my service when I was informed that I could not be treated due to my medical history. My frustration is not necessarily with the decision itself, but with the timing and lack of communication. If the medical questionnaire had been sent to me before my appointment, the staff could have reviewed it ahead of time and informed me that I was not a candidate for microneedling. Instead, I took time off work, drove nearly an hour round trip, completed all of the intake forms, and was turned away at the last possible moment. What was even more confusing was that I asked whether I could receive a facial instead. I explained that I get facials regularly and would have preferred receiving some type of service since I had already made the trip. Despite that, I was told I could not receive any treatment and that I would not be eligible for services for an entire year. As someone who manages chronic health conditions, I left feeling dismissed rather than cared for. I fully support providers prioritizing patient safety, but there is a professional and respectful way to handle those situations. The lack of advance screening, the inconvenience, and the way the situation was handled made this one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had. If you have a complex medical history or chronic health conditions, I would strongly encourage you to contact the office and discuss your eligibility before making the trip. UPDATE: Since Yelp does not allow replies, the owner commented on my review stating that communication had been given to me prior to my appointment. This is completely untrue. I have no emails or text messages from them regarding my medical history or directions to their building other than just the address. I understand safety is the top priority. But the lack of accountability is really disheartening.

This particular day I signed on for full face filler. I'm going to be 49 and wanted to embrace the process. I'm a Mom who works at her kids school and of course puts everyone's needs before her own so in normal day to day life, I tend to spend more on my kids than myself. With that being said there is no one else I would trust to inject and certainly not after learning and listening to all of the education! When you're a model you get to hang out all day and basically take the class with them, until they are ready to inject. I'm not naive to the injecting process (I've worked in the spa industry, dermatology offices etc) but I was naive to what injectors have to know!!!!!!! I'll admit I'm the girl in her 20s etc that would buy the Groupon to save money. With age usually comes wisdom.. and the wisdom I gained in this experience about how much thought you should give to your injector was mind blowing. To hear, all of the things they have to consider, know, have knowledge in?? To take this artery, this vein, this bone structure etc into consideration. Inject with your patients eyes open (to stay in contact with them) because if there is any vision changes you have 45 mins to restore vision if vision is lost...... It scared me. But scared me in a way where I also felt comfort. Knowing I was in Jennifer's chair and the trust I have in her. I felt compelled to write a lengthy review on how everyone should give serious thought to who is behind the needle or cannula. There are many things that could go wrong and you should question the integrity of your provider, their knowledge and the products they use. In today's world it's a fact that people "cut corners". Do you want an injector who "cuts corners" or do you want the best? The best being Jennifer and I'm sure the knowledge she passes on to her team! It's a no brainer for me
