This place is great. I've been with them since they were in the old office (like 4 years). The…read moredoctors are both very professional, personable and obviously know their stuff. They are easy to talk to and you can tell they care about their patients. They listen to your concerns and work with you to formulate the best treatment plan. I've seen patients of all ages in for allergy shots and check-ups. What makes this office even more exceptional is the great staff that augment the doctors perfectly. I don't know everyone, but I can tell you Lacie and Cindy are some of the best around. They're great at what they do and do their best to make you feel welcome and at ease. If you have allergy issues or asthma or other stuff that makes your nose/lung area feel not so great...head on over and tell them I sent you. (it won't matter, but it'll be fun)

I have been a patient of the office for 6 years for treatment of severe seasonal allergies. I have…read morebeen very pleased with my care, which is fairly routine with regular shots. This year, my infant daughter had a reaction to food on a Saturday. Dr. Girdhar squeezed us in the following week, explaining the urgency of diagnosis and treatment for infants with potential food allergies. She quickly diagnosed and referred us to an expert in food allergy treatments. Furthermore, she has been in continuous communication about how to introduce additional potential allergenic foods, and has provided guidance and care along with way. The office staff are easy to reach and always get back to me promptly when I call or text with questions. They are also really kind people! I strongly recommend Dr. Girdhar's practice!

I had a very disappointing experience with this allergist. I waited about 45 minutes to be seen…read more During my visit, I could hear discussion about my case in the waiting room, which raised concerns about privacy. The doctor's communication style made it difficult for me to explain my concerns, as questions felt abrupt and at times dismissive. I also felt my questions were not always well received, which made the visit more stressful and less productive. During the appointment, the door remained open for much of the visit, and I overheard discussion about my case with a resident in the hallway. I also heard comments that made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a patient. I asked general questions about allergies (including a question related to my husband and allergy concerns in general), but I felt this was not fully addressed in relation to my own situation. The purpose of my visit and referral did not appear to be fully reviewed or incorporated into the appointment. The testing process was not clearly explained, and I was not given clear information about what was being done or why. I also did not observe gloves being used during the procedure. The control prick test did not appear to function properly, and this was not addressed clearly. During the visit, I felt the evaluation was rushed and that my concerns were not fully explored. My original issue was not resolved, and I was not given clear next steps or alternatives. A prescription that was discussed was never sent in. There was also a discrepancy during the visit where I was initially told certain information could not be found on the computer, but when we both reviewed the record together, I was able to point it out. In addition, I observed a staff interaction near the front desk that appeared unprofessional, including a medical procedure being performed in a public-facing area, which contributed to my concerns about office practices and privacy. When I attempted to raise concerns with the front desk, the situation was not handled in a constructive way. I also overheard a telehealth appointment from the waiting area. Overall, I left without answers or a treatment plan that addressed my concerns. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider and I am seeking care elsewhere. I am also addressing my concerns through appropriate medical review channels

I went and saw Dr. Schultz today for the first time since she made the switch to Northwestern…read more Here are a few reasons I think Dr. Schultz is fabulous: * I ran into a friend and mutual patient of Dr. Schultz. She had called first thing because of a painful ear ache and Dr. Schultz squeezed her in. Many of the doctors I've seen in the past would just tell you they were booked and send you off to immediate care. * There was some confusion as to whether her old office sent over my records as requested. I've always assumed that doctors cram before seeing a patient, reminding themselves what their health issues are and personal tidbits. Not Dr. Schultz, she's the real deal, she was fuzzy on a few minor things, but remembered the important stuff! * Northwestern has this system called Relay Health, she explained that I can get info electronically, communicate with the office, and schedule appointments through it. She also went through the security features of the site and told me what steps I could skip to make getting set up quicker. All of that combined with how nice and friendly she is makes Dr. Schultz one fabulous doc. And like others have said the people she's referred me to have always been top notch!

It's a solid 4 because Dr Schultz is always nice and personable and answers all of my questions…read more The one minus star is due to (1) super super slow check in at front desk, and (2) they have the most retarded queuing/waiting system. When I went there last week, they checked me and another girl in at the same time, let us into the office at the same time, and our waiting rooms were next to each other. Apparently we both had an 8am appointment with Dr. Schultz, and for some reason she decided to see the other girl first. So it was me, by myself, waiting in the room next door, for about 25min. And I could clearly hear the girl talking with the doctor next door. I mean we all know people can't appear in two places at the same time, so why would you make two appointments at the same time available to patients? It's an inefficient use of my time and it's an inefficient use of the resources at the office.

In 2003, I was laid up for 2 weeks at home with bronchitis. When I saw a new internist in 2008, he recommended that I see Dr. Jacobson, because of the numerous sinus infections I was continuing to experience. Since I saw Dr. Jacobson he had provided me with the right treatments that let me live a life without concern of asthma and allergies for over 15 years. It has been life changing for me. Under Dr. Jacobson's care I ran 13 marathons and rode my bike hundreds of miles each year. I never experienced any breathing problems. Dr. Jacobson's practice has a boutique feel to it. He takes whatever time is needed to provide a diagnosis and gives me all the time that I need to ask questions. He thinks outside the box, does whatever research is necessary, and develops innovative solutions to help me get well. He has a tremendous office staff that is very warm and welcoming when you come into his office. To me it feels like family. I feel that I have been provided the very best care. I have recommended Dr. Jacobson to other people numerous times. Peter Waldman
