Got take out from here. Started with the Mezze Filistini which had a combination of 5 different dips which were all very good, but seems to a bit pricey for what you get. Great appetizer for sharing. Their falafel and lamb chops were good. Would like to try to come here again and try some of the other dishes that seem interesting!

Mix Shwarma platter. Very good!

I wanted to try somewhere different for lunch, and I am so glad that I did. This is a cute, quaint spot with seating indoors, and there is a nice patio as well. I started with the complementary pita, olives, olive oil and spices for dipping , which was fresh and delicious. Then I had the Ikras Bi Sabanikh (spinach pie) as an appetizer and I'd loved it! For my entrée I went with the Mix Shwarma platter which was also very good. Definitely a great spot for unique food and great service.

Kanafe

Some of the best middle eastern food in the Allentown area. Hard to find good Mansaf that is not home-made but they crushed it. Mixed grill was cooked to perfection. Cauliflower and eggplant were phenomenal. And the kanafe was elite. The owner and staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Excellent service. It's also BYOB which is great if you want to bring wine or arak. Overall great experience and I highly recommend.

Incredible food with plenty of parking! The flavors took us right back to Jordan -- authentic, delicious, and comforting. Service was outstanding, warm, and welcoming. We stopped by on our way back from the Poconos and are so glad we did. Highly recommended!

Wow I am so impressed. I'm married to a Palestinian so I'm pretty snobby and spoiled when it comes to Arab food, but this place was incredible. So authentic, so unique, I've never come across a more culturally representative Palestinian restaurant anywhere. All of the dishes were items you rarely see on a menu like msakhin, makloubeh, mahshi, but included all of the things my mother in law makes. I chose the muhummarah as my app and the fattat jaj as the main and they were so delicious and came with generous portions. Oh and don't forget the fresh baked bread right behind the counter. Loved the decor and murals inside too. Long live Palestine and its people!

Grape Leaves and hummus....incredible

Can I give a 10 star review? The Ayat restaurant in Brooklyn has come to the Lehigh Valley, taking over the Bellisimo Italian restaurant. This is Palestinian cuisine of the highest level. Magic is sprinkled on the dishes. Just look at the pictures and GET DOWN THERE! Friendly and helpful staff. $32 for a shareable Jaj. Complimentary baklava. The experience felt like a Palestinian family table.

Lentil Soup...so delicious.

Ayat is a wonderful Palestinian Restaurant in Allentown. Pita bread was freshly baked in wood burning oven and served with olives, dry spice and olive oil. Hummus was good and we got to try falafel and parsley. Lentil soup was delicious. Zahir is fried cauliflower served with tahini & pomegranate molasses. It was very good. Beitenjan is fried eggplant also served with tahini & pomegranate molasses. It was so good. Chicken Kebab with basmati rice and salad was good. Lemon & Garlic roasted Chicken Ouzi was pretty good. Maklouba is a delicious chicken & basmati rice dish for two. Kabsa is a chicken and basmati rice dish prepared with yellow raisins. It was absolutely delicious. Kunafa dessert was amazing. Middle Eastern tea hits the spot after a great meal. Employees were so helpful and friendly.

Fattoush salad, pitas, olives, EVO, and seasoning. Plus, mint and lemon drink .... So good!

Excellent food & wonderful service. So many great choices on the menu, wanted to try everything. Sadly was too full to try dessert, next time!

Had a wonderful meal here at the suggestion of a friend while visiting home! We had the babaganouj,…read moregrilled shrimp platter, fattoush salad, beef kibbe, shanklish, arabic coffee, and pistachio mafrooka. The food was excellent! Everything was fresh, well cooked, flavorful, and served in massive portions. The fattoush was a beautiful massive boat, and the dressing with it had a lovely vinegar bite and the pomegranate pop in the dressing was so good, both visually and taste wise. The coffee was great, fresh made with deep flavor. My friend loved the shrimp, they were juicy and flavorful. They also came with pita, rice, and labneh. The kibbe were fried perfectly, and juicy and well spiced inside. I love that they were small instead of two huge ones like I sometimes see. The pistachio mafrooka was something I had never tried and oh my god, it was amazing. A little disk on the bottom of pistacho and maybe honey? Nice and sticky and baklava adjacent minus the phyllo. Topped with a scoop of a thick cream, with a cheesecake vibe but a little more sour. Then topped with pistachio. It also came with all three pieces which were huge. The service was quick and friendly as well. They also have hookah, which they asked if we wanted to do when we arrived. We didn't opt to, but if that's your jam, stop by! I absolutely recommend coming by for the food though!
