We first dined here during their grand opening. They impressed us with their food, hospitality, and friendliness. We've been back several times and I'm happy to say each visit has been wonderful. My wife loves fajitas and I'm a sucker for anything with queso. Their Pollo Con Crema with peppers and onions, is served with a side of rice and beans. Outstanding, IMO. I have tried a few items (Birrias and pollo con crema)but always go back to the shrimp Con Queso (I love that they offer a lunch and dinner size) because it's delicious! Awesome experience at this new restaurant! Apparently it's owned by relatives of the popular Monterrey Mexican Restaurant just down the road. The menu is similar, but seems to be more specialized to seafood and street food. The staff were all very friendly and kept refilling our drinks and asking if we needed anything. The build your own combos are a great deal; the quesadilla came with two sides and was only $10.99! I personally would have to say that was some of the best guacamole I've had (much better than Monterrey's in my opinion!). Highly suggest trying this new spot! read more

Yesterday was my first experience at the restaurant, and I was super pleased. In fact, I sat beside Malcolm M.. Everyone on the wait staff team was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The owner is the son of Monterreys and its obvious the restaurant business is flowing through his veins. My dish, the ribeye with Kora sauce shrimp was awesome. I've never had shrimp prepared that way and will be politely borrowing the recipe. Give Roy Jr. and his team a try and you won't be disappointed! read more

I've been several times so far with friends and family. The atmosphere is lovely. The chairs are fluffy-approved (wide & sturdy), which is very important for some of us. The food is great, portions from reasonable to generous, and the service is outstanding. I've ordered (or shared from) Pizza de Roy, Torta Contemporanea, La Bamba Chicken, Piña Loca, Arrachera, La Tampiqueña, Sopa de Tortilla, Esquite, and most recently the Carne Asada Potato. honest to god this place sucks, I came here expecting good grilled chicken tacos. Instead I get tacos that are lightly seasoned and thrown with lettuce (no tomato or salsa on the side nothing) with mozzarella cheese so it was greasy. if I wanted lettuce and lightly seasoned chicken I should of gone to Charley's Philly cheesesteaks in Walmart. Great food and an amazing staff. Portions are plentiful and quality is great on everything we have tried. This is a weekly must visit for us. The restaurant is beautiful as well. Beautiful tables and a great atmosphere for a nice date night out. Manager comes by as well to make sure everything was perfect and if there is an issue they make it right. we reluctantly tried this new place and were very happy with it! We have plenty of Mexican restaurants around here, most are good but light on ambiance. This place, being new, is different with a well thought out and decorated interior. Tables are large and heavy, service was super friendly and fast, cocktail was well made and wasn't just bottled sour mixer. We'll still frequent the places that are a bit closer to us, but Ay Caramba is definitely in the rotation. Give it a shot, highly recommend. read more
