I have been going to another pain management clinic since visiting this unethical place. Turns out that my L5/S1 disc extrusion is in fact touching my nerve root. Pain management doesn't seem to be working and I may need a discectomy as it is affecting my spinal canal. I will be seeing an Orthopedic Surgeon regarding this soon. Also, I have received injections for my left and right SI joints which also didn't work. This Orthopedic Surgeon will also be performing a fusion and cleaning up abnormal bone growth. I have a hairline fracture in only one vertebrae that will be monitored by MRI. If anyone is contemplating coming to this facility please read these reviews. I am surgical and I was told to find someone else by this so called "doctor " who wouldn't even look at my MRI or CT. DO NOT COME HERE read more

Dr.Kent provided great care and spent time reviewing my MRI. Dr. Jameson provided poor care - sang during procedures so she doesn't have to interact with patients. Scheduling challenging at best. What happened to great PT's? When the PT director resigns to go elsewhere, you know support is not there, Re-naming won't help and, quality of care has since deteriorated. I guess Dr.s no longer want to collaborate - just collect facility fees in a new building. Sad to see.... read more

I see the response this place gives to all bad reviews is that their goal is to satisfy the patients, I red that in all their feedback to bad reviews and I want to tell them they have not come close to reaching that goal read more

They treat your time like it's worthless but don't dare arrive 2 minutes late. If you don't like spending 2 hours at the doctor to have 10 minutes of face-to-face time, find somewhere else to get treatment. read more

my son had a two level artificial disc replacement surgery and everything was awesome. The hospital has a great rating and Dr. Roland Kent is a phenomenal surgeon. The care has been stellar and I'm so surprised to see other reviews that are not complimentary. Even the food at the hospital was amazing. I'm so happy my son did not have to have a fusion surgery. Dr. Jameson was good and the office was clean, but her nurse, Kimi Trout, was very unhelpful. It took a long time to get into the schedule and if you left a message, she wouldn't return the call. If you did get through to her, she was rude and seemed like she hated her job. She told me my insurance adjuster denied my treatment, but it wasn't denied. She just didn't want to do the paperwork portion. So she very unprofessional and rude. This was a huge waste of my time. I would not recommend this office. read more

Staff was on time and caring. Scheduler was rude. Asked me what time for next appointment, I said earliest available, she said "WHAT TIME?". I said 7:30 she said 7:45 was available. Why bother? Bad day? Or bad person? I will go elsewhere. read more

I hope this review helps others as they decide who can help pain in the back and siatic pain. I went to this place. The office is very nice and proffesional looking. But when they do thier injection, you are sent to an out patient clinic at northwest hospital. They do not use exray machines to guide the needles and you go in with your work clothes... I now go to another Pain clinic in sandpoint.. they put me in surgery clothes, hook we to a heart rate and oxygen, use an exray machine, very clean and in thier own surgery room. I have nurse by my head monitoring, an exray tech and doctor.. all this is not done by axix center.. keep in mind avoiding an infection is very important. pick your surgery room wisely. My new doctor at the pain center knows exactly were to insert the injection.. it is more effective and last longer. most insurances dont approve more than 6 injections a year. Co pay are usually 250 to 350 so make sure you get the most for your money. Also the approval time at axis is usually a month..My new pain clinic takes about 3 days.. Axis billing is very under staffed for the amount of patients they have.. Please research and get the best pain clinic you can find, read reviews and ask to see their procedure and surgery room for injections.. Itll make a huge difference in your life with dealing in pain.. I am so glad I went to another place and feel so much better.. Do every thing you can to avoid back surgery, that should be the last option. read more

They are totally unresponsive to both phone messages as well as Email messages sent through the Patient Portal (even though it says they will respond within 2 business days). (1) Upon my 1st visit to Axis, Mark Lynch referred me to physical therapy. Over 2 weeks ago, after 6 weeks of PT, my Physical Therapist left a message for Mr. Lynch to call her. He has yet to do so. (2) At my appointment with Mark Lynch on 11-17, the medical asst. took my blood pressure, which read 162/101. (My BP is normally on the low side.)She then stated that device had been reading high all day and she would retake it in a few minutes with a different device, which she never did. Instead, she recorded the incorrect reading. That reading still shows on my patient portal. I have requested 4 times since Nov.to have that incorrect reading deleted. They have not done so. (3) After my 11-17 appointment, my physical therapy orders were sent to the wrong facility. It took 3 requests from me to have the orders sent to the correct facility, delaying the start of my PT. (4) Having gotten no response to these issues, I requested the Email address for the Practice Manager, but have received no response to that request, either. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Axis if you desire a health care provider who is responsive to their patients. read more

Dr Adam Mills is a chiropractor at Axis. I hadn't been to a good chiropractor in years & had fears with all my issues. I don't trust just anyone with my body. All my fears were alleviated within 20 minutes conversation with the most professional, kind, empathetic, soft spoken Doctor I've ever met. He Listened & assessed every issue I had. He helped me review my X-rays & answered all my questions. He is gentle & yet makes progress happen instantly. Within 3 weeks I have movement in my neck & back that I haven't had in 20 years; literally! The man is a miracle worker & I can't say enough good about him. If you need fixed then you need Dr Mills, he is the best! read more

I can't say enough about Axis Spine Center. I am in recovery of my 3rd back surgery with Dr, Roland Kent. I am truly thankful for his precise expertise in what he does. Coming out of a almost full lumbar fusion, and revision, I am thankful that everything is working as it should, and took the months of ongoing pain away. I'd give a zero rating, but it won't let me. I was referred to them after an MRI was done. After two weeks, they hadn't called, so I called them. The person stated the scheduling person would call "shortly" to set up an appointment. 5 days later, on a Saturday morning at 8:15, they called and left a message to call them back. I was driving to work, so I missed the call. I called the number 9 minutes later. No answer...they were closed! Two more weeks went by. I physically went into the office to set an appointment, but they said they couldn't do it and sent me away, telling me someone would call. They finally called...at 5:45 in the evening...but the earliest appointment was another 2 weeks out at 7:15 a.m. I accepted the appointment. When I got there for my appointment (admittedly, I was 2 minutes late...the GPS sent me to the wrong building, so I had to walk across two parking lots)...they said because I arrived "almost 5 minutes late" they were going to have to reschedule. There wasn't a person in the waiting room, and there was no one there other than staff. I will travel 1,000 miles and pay out-of-network, out-of-pocket costs rather than do business with them. Oh, and someone needs to tell them it's a HIPAA violation to play voicemails out loud with patients' names and phone numbers being announced for everyone to hear. read more

They scheduled back surgery and stated a brace was required after the surgery or it would not be performed. The brace they "fitted" me for was was short. I asked for a different brace (note: their brace provider made one the same model but extended three inches longer) and this was the response, "Mr XXXX, Our surgeons have selected a few different braces that we use for a variety of post op spine surgeries. The braces are not an exact fit but we do our best to fit them the best we can and that is why we do the adjustments at your pre-op visit so that after surgery it is adjusted properly. Please bring the brace with you to your surgery and the staff will make any minor adjustments after your surgery. You are having a major surgery so it is very important that you bring the brace with you on the day of surgery." "...do our best to fit them the best we can..." As AT&T says, just OK is not just OK. When you start with one which doesn't fit, there is no way you will make it do! YGBSM! This is totally unsatisfactory for back surgeons. Are Dr. Kent's assistants that incompetent, or is his leadership so bad they are afraid to approach him and tell him the brace doesn't fit????? read more

Never again. Jameson is a joke. Never had such impersonal service from a medical professional in my life! Coded my procedure incorrectly and almost left me on the hook for the whole thing.
