I joined when my son was 4 months and it was wonderful to have a place to come and get out of the house. There are classes to go to every day of the week which is great if your schedule changes. You bring your babies in strollers and exercise around them. If you are wearing your baby, then the teachers will easily guide you in ways to continue feeling like you're getting a great workout. Each class ends at a park and you can choose to stay and chat, breastfeed or have your babies play while you cool off. Such a supportive place to get your body moving and out of the house after baby. I went on their website and they were offering the first class for free so I signed up. I am so glad that I did. I was 6 weeks postpartum when I attended my first class. I loved it so much that I signed up for the membership. Since then, I have been attending Stroller strides for a minimum of 3 times a week. My baby girl is now almost 5 months. I love that I can get a great workout and have my baby with me at all times and not worry about childcare. This was a huge help! Also, I love being surrounded by wonderful mamas. I feel very supported knowing that I am not alone in this fitness journey. You built this relationship with the community and you get to know and relate with other moms who have similar struggles. Megan and Lorena are amazing instructors and were very welcoming. They really motivate you. I always leave feeling stronger and full of energy. The owner, Carly, is very accommodating and passionate in helping mamas get fit and healthy. They also do playdates on some days after class with some DIY crafts coordinated by Rhiannon. Rhiannon is also amazing. I am so glad I found FIT4MOM.

We got that & more when working with Julia!!! She was incredibly patient, detailed oriented & efficient. We had a lot of very specific requirements & wants when it came to looking for a nanny & had no luck on our own. Most importantly though, Julia is an amazing listener & we really felt she took the time to understand what we wanted in a nanny, even if some of it was very foreign and nuanced. She was also great at getting a sense of each candidate that she sent our way. We actually ended up going with a candidate that had the least written qualifications & we may have easily passed over if not for Julia's notes about how wonderful her general energy and personality seemed for us. We've had the nanny with us for 3 weeks now and love having her & feel that it's an amazing fit. We definitely could never have found her without Julia on the case!!! i've had such a great experience at amsc, and i'm genuinely so grateful for the professors and…read morestaff who have supported me throughout my time here. rene has been an amazing professor and has played such a big part in helping me grow as a sonography student. he is extremely knowledgeable in both echo and vascular, and he genuinely cares about making sure his students understand what they're learning and become better sonographers. he has always been there whenever i needed help, whether it was explaining something again, answering questions, or giving me tips and tricks to improve my scanning. when it came time for me to start my externship, rene was also one of the people who really believed in me and reminded me that i was capable of doing it. he gave me so much advice and helped prepare me for what to expect, which made me feel much more confident going into externship. now that i'm there, i can genuinely see how much of what he taught me has helped prepare me. i've learned so much from him, and i'm extremely grateful that i've had him as my echo and vascular professor. sarah, my student counselor, has also been such an important part of my experience at amsc. she is incredibly supportive and motivational and genuinely wants to see students succeed. whenever i've felt nervous or doubted myself, she has always reminded me of what i'm capable of. especially while preparing for my spi, she encouraged me and reminded me that i knew the information and could do it. being able to share with her when i passed made that accomplishment even more special because she knew how much work went into getting there. she is also someone i've always felt comfortable going to whenever i needed guidance or had a concern, and it truly makes a difference having someone like that in your corner throughout the program. i also want to recognize mrs. rose, suzy, naira, gary, tamara, and leslie. they have all been incredibly kind and knowledgeable and have contributed to making my experience at amsc such a positive one. the front desk staff is also always so kind and welcoming, which is something i really appreciate. there are so many people here who are willing to share their knowledge, answer questions, and help you along the way, and i'm very grateful for that. overall, i'm extremely grateful for my experience at amsc and for the people who have helped me get to where i am. having professors, counselors, and staff who genuinely care about your education, growth, and success makes such a difference. i still have more of my journey ahead of me, but i already feel like i've grown so much as a student and future sonographer. i'm truly thankful for rene, sarah, and everyone at amsc who has been a part of that journey.
