Ms. Annie , Ms. Sara , and Ms. Lomeli are all organized , very informative as to the aspect of Sonography and AMSC College has to offer the students . We have been looking forward for this visit as the only school we have in mind and determined to go for our son . This school only cares about the money they are bringing in. They do not care about their students and it's super strict. At the beginning they said we would receive iPads and when the day of orientation comes you leave with absolutely nothing after being told otherwise. They say they understand when something in your " life happens " but when it comes down to something in your life actually happening it becomes a big deal and you get put on several probations where you have to make up hours missed if you don't have an excused note. They do not care about the students or in any way to help. Instead you tell them about your situation and laugh after you leave. Some professors are great and others are not. If one class has a misunderstanding other classes get affected by it which is by far not fair at all. read more

This school doesn't really care about their high paying students. Having long nails are a hit and miss. Some classes doesn't get check for that and even though you're wearing a sweater you have to still wear your scrub top or you will be absent for the day. They require you to make up for those absences or you'll be put under probation. This school is very strict and small so be wary. We're also not suppose to be using messed up probes but we definitely are, some are taped and exposed wires! Our conference room's projector is held up by scotch tape, very hazardous! read more

AMSC was a great experience for me. I'd recommend this school to friends or family members interested in an ultrasound career. They have good up-to-date ultrasound machines that are very easy to use. They also have amazing and knowledgeable instructors who genuinely want to see you succeed and excel. Although it can get overwhelming at times due to the fast pace course, they are always there to help and support you in anyway. One of the instructors, Mr.Rene, was very supportive towards my class when I attended there. He was able to break down detailed information for us to understand better. He also gave great scanning tips for echo and vascular, that I use till this day. Overall, this is a great school who cares about their students. read more

Being at AMSC for a year and a half has been a both rewarding and challenging as a student. It has its ups and downs, but one constant is the teachers like Professor Rene and Ms. Rose. Worst school.. I should of done my research before going to the school. Please do your research everyone that wants to attend. School is not accredited by the board for you to sit for the ARDMS unless you work a year. I'm pretty sure most of you who write reviews get gift cards for doing so. I couldn't believe how unprofessional this place was just during the initial tour. Annie took us around but I couldn't even get an idea of what a typical day would look like going to school at AMSC. It was a ghost town. She also almost seemed to discourage my daughter from going there. I would think they could take all the money they could get. She was unresponsive with phone messages too. This school is a very unfair and money hungry school, Even said by one of my teachers at this school which says a lot. They swear they care about their students which is a lie all they care about is how they present them self on social media and them selves only. Anyone can get into this school which shows there's not enough scanning time, not to mention barely have any dummies to practice on and barely time to scan. This school seems so organized on social media yet so unprofessional and unorganized when you actually attend. Classes constantly being switched around because they have new people to take money from now, giving other classes 1 time to scan the new part we are scanning. They advise us to talk about our concerns yet when we do nothing gets done and they do what's easiest for them not to deal with us. All staff are rude except for the front desk ladies and some teachers. Online teachers are horrible it seems like they just place us with who ever they can find. It's sad how our class feels so unprepared to take the spi and we're all basically helping eachother teach ourselves when we're paying plenty to be teached. I recommend doing research before picking this school because if credits were able to transfer A lot of us would've been well gone. The career services department at AMSC is very helpful I am grateful we are able to get help with our resumes and finding a job . They are always sending job opportunities for us and help us prepare for interviews as well. Kurt was very helpful with helping me update my resume and giving me information about what I need on my resume to get hired more quickly by jobs I am interested in. And I shall quote on the first day of class, "Y'all can't sit together, cause y'all Asians look alike". Why... Thank you. As a black person, you're oppressing others? Interesting... While practicing moving patient, she PICKS on the skinny girls and expects us to lift her all while yelling out "You just lifted a 300lb person". If you're too slow doing procedures, she'll ask you if you need GLASSES and walk off. She claimed that the book is wrong every time we show her where we got our answers from. She claimed the students are liars when we have a photo of her handwriting on the board. Armstrong also taught at FOR-profit schools like NorthWest College. At Huntington Beach Adult School she abandoned her students and DROVE OFF after being reported that she was going to "stab" students during needle injection practices. Armstrong taught at 3 different schools in 3 years. CONGRATS!!! It's a small world after all. read more

I would love to first say that AMSC College has mean so much to me in ways where, the faculty would make sure that all there students gain all the knowledge and skills there is to know in pursuing a rewarding career. As a student here at AMSC College I can honestly say that AMSC College takes pride in what they do in successfully completing each student in reaching there educational goals and dreams. The instructor's always made sure that all there student's in his/her class leave class wanting to learn more and would make sure that all questions are answered and the lecture given for the day were clear. Financial Aid made sure that all paperwork were complete and she is very understanding when it came down to any financial problems that students had and tried her BEST to work around it. Gloria(front desk) always welcomed the students with a SMILE, where in which totally made my mornings. She tends to build relationships with students where we were extremely comfortable to come to her for advice or any problems. Last but not the least Mr.Haik and Mr.Eric may seem very busy at times BUT there doors are always open. They will stop what they are doing in a heartbeat if they knew we had an issue for ANYTHING. I HIGHLY recommend this particular Medical School to anyone, young or old to come check it out because I highly believe, "action speaks louder then words". I have been going to this school since last April and I have to say the teachers are very knowledgeable and the staff is amazing, always there to help you and explain everything on point. Classes are very interesting I have to say, not too hard and always give you the time to stay after class if you need it and many books to read the material from. I toured this school once and asked when I could take the state exams for DMS. Though I knew that they are not CAHEEP accredited I still asked when I could take the ARDMS exams, where they told me right when I'm done with the program. With a non CAHEEP accreditation a student can't sit for the test without a year of work experience. No idea why they would lie about this. I've been contacted several times by the school since, and have told them at least 3 times that I'm not interested and to take me off their contact list. I received an email from them still trying to recruit me where I told them I'm not interested and to remove me from their list like I've asked 3 times already, but they don't stop. Completely unprofessional school in every way I could never have imagined. Don't waste your time or money, go tour CBD which has all the right accreditations, and who work with dozens of great hospitals including UCLA, USC, and Kaiser. I started the Ultrasound program AA degree seven months ago. July 25, 2017 was the date I started. I really recommend this school to others reading my review because they actually put time with the students to teach them. I can't wait to start my internship. I actually was going to community college and had a couple of classes more before I needed to transfer to CSU but I wanted to also get my US degree. I am so happy I made that decision quick and always remember its never too late. Great school, great staff, great environment. The owner Vardan is awesome too and his assistant Gloria and all. Unfortunately this school is not accredited by CAAHEP, which is EXTREMELY important to take your board exam after you graduate. While they claim they are accredited by ABHES (Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools) you CAN NOT sit for your board exam without having a YEAR of experience in the profession, which is proven to be very difficult since you can't obtain licensure. MANY companies/organizations/hospitals require you to have your license to be even considered to work. Unless you have connections in the work force please do yourself a favor and find an accredited school with (CAAHEP) it will save you time and money. Although staff is friendly and knowledgeable, I am disheartened by the lack of transparency about the school, it's goals and the large sum of money that numerous students and families have to spend on obtaining a license you cant even earn upon graduation. read more

I studied diagnostic medical ultrasound at AMSC collage 3 years ago and I can't tell how satisfied I am with this school. It has the most caring and knowledgeable instructors who teach you every single detail and make sure you understand it correctly. I graduated in April 2016 and passed my SPI and RDMS exams right away. The amazing staff allowed me to go to school even after the graduation and practice as much as I want. They are always there to help and support if needed. They also assist you in finding employment if you are good in scanning. Honestly AMSC changed my life the staff is so supportive and the teachers really want to make sure you succeed.
