Alex was our pottery teacher for the evening and she was so awesome! She gave us a lot of guidance while also allowing us ample creative freedom. The vibes were super chill and fun. There are currently 6 pottery wheels located in the back of the studio. They were spaced nicely apart to allow plenty of room to work. I also appreciated the small details like each station having a covered bin to put purses / sweaters, etc. as well as the phone stands so you could record yourself making some cool pottery pieces. Pricing was also super reasonable; $55 per person or $90 for tandem (tandem means 2 of you share 1 wheel - we opted for 2 individual wheels). You get to create multiple pieces, but only 1 per person is included to take home. Any additional pieces are $15. Takes about a month until you can pick your pieces up since your pieces require a lot of dry time, both in and out of the kiln. We're very excited to see how our pieces come out! In addition to the pottery class, their shop mostly caters to painting pre-made pottery. We had some time before our class to check out the pottery pieces and they were all pretty cool. I liked that a lot of pieces were catered more towards adults; although there are definitely kid friendly pieces. We'll actually be back in a few weeks to try this portion out when my parents visit. I highly recommend this studio for a fun day or night of creativity! Whether you just want to paint or you're feeling brave in wanting to try making your own pottery, you're going to have a great time!

You have a 2 1/2 hour slot to finish your painting, which usually constitutes about three layers of paint. The tables for painting are a little bit tiny and shaky, and I found the brushes to be a little bit more difficult for detailed work. When you register, you have to pay a studio fee as well as a fee for the pottery that you will be painting. So plan to spend about 50-60 bucks for two people, depending on the size and item you select for pottery. It will take approximately 2 to 2 1/2 weeks to get your pottery back so plan accordingly. I definitely overall enjoyed the experience and would return to this location to paint something else.

We had to book two tables even tho the adults were not making slime. They try to upsell you for the adults to participate and of course everything else to add in. Once the kids got started one of our friends was asked to move from a chair behind her daughter to the table. At one point the host left the area and our kids asked for help to stir the slime. We again were told we had to sit down and we could not help our own children. We were discussing how ridiculous this policy was and how ride the manager was within our own group. He then came back over to us and began to tell us he was being nice by allowing us to sit on the orange bench next to the table our kids were at, when technically it was for those signing their waivers (never mind we were the only people in the business at the time), he then said we were breaking the rules by discussing with each other our opinion of how he was treating us (we were not cursing, being disruptive just stating how absurd it was we were not allowed to help our own children!) He tried to say I was yelling at him when I never raised my voice but was only matter of fact with him, and when I tried to end the conversation and sit their quietly so my kids could just finish their experience, he continued to try and scold me and I had to repeatedly tell him "Ok" and just sit silently because he felt it necessary to be domineering after I said my piece. Our group was completely respectful the entire time and when other patrons came in toward the end of our session we moved as necessary to accommodate the rules. It was completely out of line the way he spoke to us, tried to control us, and try to intimidate us. Such a shame they have someone managing the business who is not welcoming and doesn't know how to speak to people appropriately.

I saw a scrap of lace that was priced like it was woven from unicorn hair and spun by angels. I'm pretty sure I could buy a small island for the cost of their "sale" bin. And the staff? Oh, the staff. They looked like they were auditioning for a remake of "The Stepford Wives," but instead of being robots, they were just...snobby. Asking for help was like pulling teeth from a grumpy badger. Booked a paint class for five people on Sunday afternoon - they were so accommodating and welcoming…read moreto all of us! It felt like a personalized and private class with the amount of attention we got. We decided to go for the candle making add on and they had all the supplies ready to go and we were done with the candle making part in 15 minutes honestly. While the candles cured, we headed over to the paint class! We ended up with a private paint class and our instructor was really kind and patient. He went over a couple things repeatedly for us and even walked around to help us out. Some of us were total beginners but felt completely at ease. We got to choose the playlist of songs and took our time with the painting. They do push purchasing drinks a bit. They had a raffle for a free painting at the end of the class. All in all this was an amazing experience for girls night, birthday, bachelorette etc!
