I am very disappointed. I asked for some help with lighting issues around my pool. They were so…read morenice and willing when we first met, but then 3 visits later, promise after promise to fix my problem, and nothing. I tried calling Anthony (the electrician working with us) numerous times and no answer. I called their main number and left messages. No response. I finally sent a certified letter which got their attention. Anthony called back with apologies. "It's on me", he said. He promised to make it right with no further charges. He came and still the problem was not fixed. He was convinced the problem was a transformer. We'll at this point, not only was my problem not fixed, the light inside my pool quit working (it was fine before Anthony did any work). In the mean time, fall arrived and it was time to close the pool. I thought it best to wait until this spring for Anthony to come back as the winter cover was on and the light in the pool was not visible. He agreed, but requested we pay $1300, promising to complete the job come Spring. Well, spring came and 3 texts to Anthony were left unanswered. I sent another certified letter to Pellman's office and this has been ignored. Today, my father in law, a carpenter from upstate NY, was in visiting us, and in 15 minutes he figured out we had a bad breaker. A quick visit to Lowe's and a $50 breaker fixed the issue. My Father In law builds homes for a living, so he knows lots of things, but should not be able to embarrass a certified electrician on an electrical issue. I think I am due a refund (maybe they deserve 2 or $300) for showing up at all, but not fixing the issue and then running with my money is not fair. Fortunately, my business partner's son is a lawyer, so small claims court is in the future unless I am made satisfied. Now off to other review services to spread the word.

We couldn't be happier with not just the electricity we are saving in cooling season and the First Energy rebates and federal tax credits we will be getting that defrays part of the initial cost, but also the professionalism, friendliness and responsiveness of the estimator, office staff and installers. They were able to schedule our installation quickly and when it suited us, and it all went very smoothly. We are now able to see exactly what we are spending per day via the smart thermostat (one recent hot day was 58 cents). Many cool features and we are looking forward to seeing how it performs this winter as the heat pump operates even when it is only 5 degrees outside without using the back-up heat. Highly recommend!!

As a contractor myself, I understand how jobs can go, but this job couldn't have gone much worse. I…read morewas left with not furnace or hot water all weekend, and it dipped into the 30s! I might've better been able to make arrangements if I had been notified beforehand of the conditions of the job, maybe I could have helped them plan it better? Since they didn't call me, I had to call them on Friday afternoon to find out they weren't returning until Monday, unless I was willing to make an additional payment for a Saturday service call. Having already been scammed for a grand, I crawled under some blankets and set up some space heaters to tough out a few chilly October evenings. The actual service technician was a decent, professional fellow, bit their management team leaves room for much improvement. Oh, and when you tell me you'll have a guy out at 8 Monday morning, don't have me calling at 830 to find out you sent him to the warehouse for parts for another job first, not cool.

It would have been sooner if not for the holiday. They have visited and plan to continue to visit to ensure we are happy with their product and that it is working as we would expect it to. The staff was very cordial and communicative. The pricing was also very competitive. I would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

Two no-shows, two weeks wasted, and no accountability…read more I scheduled an appointment with Aire Serv of Sewickley for 6/24 in the noon window. No one showed up, and no call was made that day to explain. The following day, someone did reach out to reschedule, and a new appointment was set for 7/1 in a 9am-12pm window. On 7/1, the technician again never arrived. I called at noon for an update and was told someone would call me back. That call never came. I called again at 2pm, and was again told I'd receive a callback with an update -- no explanation was offered, and at that point I had no reason to believe it would actually happen. I ended up canceling the appointment myself. Two weeks after my initial call, my issue remains unresolved, and I've now taken two half-days off with nothing to show for it. Aside from the one callback to reschedule after the first no-show, there was no proactive communication about delays and no real accountability for the missed appointments. If you need reliable, communicative service, I cannot recommend this company. Repeated no-shows, combined with a lack of follow-through on promised updates, made this one of the most frustrating service experiences I've had.

We were heading home at 8:30 and saw several emergency and police vehicles handling the situation, but we were without power so a policeman recommend Okot. What a life saver! Okot sent someone within a few hours, Jake did the assessment and a crew came early the next morning and replaced everything, updated our VERY old service and everything was set to go. Redcat power came to connect our service and as usual, things didn't go as smoothly as it should have. One man approved what was done, the other, due to a denial to him on our part, told me the boom bucket wouldn't reach, it needed moved, even though it would have reached because once it was changed, the bucket reached approximately 8' to the connection, and "miraculously" was able to reach 12' to the pole connection. The owner of Okot was so understanding he had his crew come the following morning and move the connection, Redcat came and "was able to reach" the now 6' span, and still reach the 12' stretch to the pole. Okot did a fantastic job, I highly recommend them.
