I personally watched Kler help a student on a live model that was struggling with pigment filling and she looked at her and said, "I will be right here until you get it right." Instead they achieve the goal of turning the top of my head red! Then trying to fix it the made my hair look even worse then it did with the greys. The staff didn't know how to fix my color nor did they care. Danny was arrogant and couldn't be bothered to advise his student. Didn't like my blunt truth about their solution and that he should have anticipated that my color would lean towards the reds and how to avoid that. The teachers were not trained in any products, hands on training or demonstrations. One teacher just sat at her desk drinking coffee during the whole class everyday. The owner of the school is a fake & fraud, all about the money. ,He even would charge extra for supplies for certain classes, when the supplies were supposed to be included. Luckily I studied the techniques and textbook to pass this course because the method of their teaching is not teaching just pay me the money. Scammers. After threatening the owner of a lawsuit of withholding my Certificate of Completion and the documentation needed for state board so I can finally receive my license ,it had taken 3 weeks when the school could of done it in one day which this was included in the price.This school has been reported to the state, City and Better Business Bureau. They inform you you have to do an evaluation with a counselor to see if you need additional counseling. Come to find out, everyone ends up needing "counseling." So someone who does not do drugs nor is a heavy drinker, needing to do 16 counseling sessions at $150 each is ridiculous. It's just a business and all they want is your money. $2400 for someone who has never had any problems in the past. I called to see if anything can be done and Francine had mentioned she will try to see what she can do if she can help, but nothing was done of course. NEXUS is a scam and so is Boca Bay. Two days and we didn't even learn much. All we did was talk about what happened with each one of us the day of the DUI and then the final day a lawyer came in to speak to us briefly about what a DUI is. So if you thought the class only cost $380, think again. The evaluation is an additional $88 and each counseling session is $150. So to those who need additional counseling, you may be required to take anywhere from 12-21 sessions. Good luck!
