I have been using this store for over 5 years. It's got a great selection and if they don't have it they will order it for you. They provide most of the usual items and then they have items that you might not find in the catalog. The nicest guy is always there and he is always helpful and will go out of his way to get you the items you need. They are open Monday to Saturday but closed Sunday. It's so nice to be able to browse the store and pick up the items you are interested in buying. You can't do that when ordering from the catalog. Try it out ! read more

This was my first time shopping for Avon products and I was not disappointed. I was looking for the "Skin so Soft Original Oil bath oil", to combat the crazy mosquitoes. I'm so glad I found this store! I'm an Avon rep and often times on the Avon website the items are unavailable. I can come here and 90% of the time this store will have what I'm looking for. The only drawback is that purchases here don't count towards your representative sales goal, but for me, keeping a customer happy makes for a long term relationship (more sales), and ultimately a better business. Recently came by the Avon store. Anyone who has heard of Avon or seen Avon catalogs at their home should come by and check out the store. They have every thing from makeup to skin care, nail polish, body care and even jewelry. That's just skimming the top. They recently moved from their HB location and this location is a huge improvement. It's roomy and there's alot of room to walk around unlike they're old location. They match current prices to the brochure, which is great and they also have some store only deals. Tony is the gentleman that's always here and he's quite knowledgeable about everything despite being a man. His wife, Celia, sometimes is also here and is a licensed cosmologist. You can even book an appointment with them if you're looking for a makeover or if you have prom/wedding and want to look your best, Celia can take care of that. Just ask if you are looking at that option. If you have problematic skin (acne, oily, bumpy, scaly, or even dry, anything!) you have to come in and browse they're skin care. Not only is it affordable but they work very well. They have options from their top line ANEW, which is a bit pricey but so worth it, to the more affordable lines such as the Avon Solutions/Elements and even the acne line Clearskin or the Clearskin Pro. They care alot about service and make sure to help everyone fairly. If you are hesitant, don't be. You won't regret it. I sure don't :) read more

What a terrific Avon store! Super variety, fresh stock. Store is clean, aisles are wide, product is at eye level and store is well lighted. Husband and wife owners are long term Avon sellers, extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Absolutely no hard sale - just friendly service. If you want to just browse, fine; if you want help - that's fine too. They are very customer focused and are immediately there to respond and help if you ask but will not unnecessarily bother you if you're browsing. This Avon store in Garden Grove is a goldmine! It's pretty awesome to be able to stop by, shop, and walk out with your products in hand. They stock everything in the catalog. I am so thankful that there is this wonderful Avon store! I have recently been bitten by mosquitoes all over my ankles, legs, arms, neck, etc. I was itching so bad and looking for relief. I remembered that Avon has a Skin So Soft product that people swear by in preventing mosquito bites, so I sought out a local distributor online. I couldn't find one until I saw a listing on Yelp for this store. I was so happy, because I needed relief from the itching and also something that would repel mosquitoes, but I was so miserable that I didn't want to wait for getting something in the mail. I was so appreciative that I could get some Skin So Soft products today! I live in Torrance and the store is in Fountain Valley, but I was so desperate that I was willing to make the drive. In actuality, it was so effortless to drive to this store because it is very close to the freeway off ramp and the parking lot is in front and so easy. When I went in the store, the owner was so friendly and helpful and explained all the Skin So Soft products to me and showed me that Avon actually has an entire line of Skin So Soft bug/insect repellents. I was so elated! The owner was so knowledgeable about all the products and sympathized with me because he said there has been an invasion of a new breed of mosquitoes lately called Aedes mosquitoes, and their nickname is "ankle biters." There have even been stories on the news about these ankle biter mosquitoes. He said people have been suffering so much from these mosquitoes, but these products could help me. What a relief! I left the store with several products of the Skin So Soft repellents: repellent spray, repellent spray with sunscreen, repellent sunscreen lotion, repellent wipes and an itch relief spray. These products have been a life saver for me. The products have taken away the itching and have prevented me from getting more bites. I am so grateful that there is this Avon store where I can stock up on my Avon Skin So Soft repellents when my supply gets low. New location is in a better cleaner center. Right next to Fortune Cookie Restaurant. I love that they are open on Sundays and I can get my Avon products instantly. I used to use MAC foundation, but the color was off to my skin color. I found a foundation at Avon that was very true to my pink hues in my skin, at a fraction of the price$. I also love the skin so soft and bug repellant products. A good place to get birthday presents. The owner is always friendly, knowledgeable and doesn't push products on you. I love being able to come into an Avon Store without having to wait for my products to be processed and delivered. SO CONVENIENT! Not only do I get to shop for my favorite Avon product at my own leisure, but I am also saving money on quality products. I have friends that wear MAC, Sephora, etc and they always compliment me on my makeup when all I wear is Avon and Mark (the line that is under Avon). Their skincare line is awesome. I've searched far and wide for something to treat my acne scars and I bought their Anew Clinical Retexturizing Peel. I also LOVE their Magix Face Perfector Face Primer that controls my oily skin. Lastly, I love their ExtraLasting Liquid Eyeliner in black because its waterproof and lasts all day! I come in here twice a year to buy a specific face lotion for my mom (June for her birthday and again at christmas because usually it takes her about 6 months to go through a container of it). The owners are always so helpful and nice. This is the type of business I love to support. I found them back when they were located at Beach Blvd and Atlanta near my house and when they moved I thought they had closed. So happy they only moved down the road a ways. I'm actually headed there today for my last minute Christmas gift for my mom and likely a few other goodies.
