Michael called the offices on the bus's route to try to get me a car from one of those instead. When he couldn't find one, he arranged to pick me up the next morning and bring me to the office, which he did. One of the other guys at the office even suggested a reputable taxi company I could use to get from the coach station to my accommodation. All in all they were a huge help when I was in a difficult situation and did everything in their power to help me out. They get 5 stars from me for providing exceptional service.

Nothing was too much trouble and the price was the most reasonable I'd had to date. They will happily deliver the car to your door if required - something which most firms boast, but very few actually will. The first time I hired, i was running over on the delivery time. Just a quick phone call and all neccessary amendments relating to the hire had been dealt with. I have used Practical on many occasions now. The cars are always clean and in tip-top condition, the service always impeccable, the prices consistantly competitive - and with the customer care always second to none. I'll never contemplate using any other firm.

This was our choice for rental in Bath. They DO NOT pick…read moreyou up as advertised or answer the phone. Short staff. We chose a ford focus , stick shift and will probably upgrade to gps. Poor cell in the Cotswolds. Out for a week. Online. We wound up with Nissan Juke. It had the gps panel as standard issue. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you pay the 5.00 per day adder for this feature. The talking GPS insured that you were where you we're supposed to be. Instead of , think I'm lost. We needed a iPhone and it involved apple play maps. The voice and the screen, magic. We did the insurance excess adder upgrade of 15.00 per day to lower damage deductible to 100 pounds, but now is covered for loss, fire or totaled in a wreck. Otherwise you are responsible for more. Payment card must match the driver. Upgrade Does not cover tires, wheels, or windshield. That would be another adder. Research says to completely photo car on pick up. Including rims. Ours was new so no issues. It is common to back charge for nicks on rims 100 pounds $$ after return. And return with no sand or dirt or animal hair inside. Another back charge..... You need to be prepared, driving on the other side is hard enough. Shifting with your left hand. We call the passenger " the screamer". For good reason. U Need one of those.
