Their Customer Service people are stationed over seas; difficult to understand and did not understand the rental process through an Insurance company. My next call was to Enterprise, and it was smooth sailing from there on. You are dealing with Representatives from the USA that have a full understanding of the insurance process. So I really think the reviews are a bit hit or miss...and I can see why...but I would give this place an A-Ok rating of 3 stars. This Budget rental place is in the process of moving. They used to be on the corner of 159th and Harlem (7200 West)...but that corner lot - which used to be a gas station - was sold and Budget has moved to 7420 West 159th (right next to the Home Depot and Goodwill Industries stores)...roughly three blocks west of Harlem Avenue. Right now they are working out of a trailer (see picture #1) but will soon move into their new digs (see picture #2). While I can't say I had perfect experiences here, I am satisfied enough to give them another chance. I understand that sometimes the previous renter does not return the vehicle on time (I had trouble returning mine) and that puts the next renter behind the eight ball. The Budget staff are in a tough position...they want to let you be a day late when necessary but that might put someone else out of pocket. Tough position. All-in-all I think this rental place is A-Ok...give them a chance. Budget, by the way, is really an outlet for Ford products...so now you know what you'll be getting. 3 Stars.

If there is only one car then both of them worked on the one car together. If a second vehicle comes then the split up. This makes the time it takes to wash cars LONGER. Much to my surprise I was told the price of the car wash I already received was $29. I had them wash my sedan, not a SUV. When I asked why is it $29 the guy got upset with me and said we did your tires, rims and mats. I tried to ask him what in the particular did they do. He got so upset he told me "don't worry about it! We wash your car for free. It's free just go! Leave!" I took a deep breath. My two previous honest, trustworthy mechanics had retired years ago. I had resorted to going into a dealership, but felt that I was being pushed to get me to spend unnecessary money and/or being overcharged for things which maybe didn't need to be done. During the recent January cold spell, my battery started acting up. Then it conked out. Fortunately, a friend had discovered JNJ. He was quite pleased with Ojay's work, honesty, and fair prices for several repairs on his car. I called early on 1/22/25. I told Ojay I needed a new battery. He got all my info and said he would try to get a battery asap. Within an hour, he called me back. He had a battery. We set up an appointment for noon time when he had an opening in his schedule. I mentioned how the dealership was emailing and pressuring me for several months to get new tires. He said he would check that out. Ojay is fantastic. Angie at the front desk is top notch. The battery replacement didn't take very long. Oscar said my tires had more than 50% tread left - no need to buy new ones yet. With Ojay I felt that I was being treated fairly, honestly, and respectfully. Excellent service. I will be taking my car to JNJ for all future repairs and servicing on my car.
