My car was towed to this mechanic because it wasn't starting. I specifically told him about a hole…read morein a coolant pipe that needed to be fixed, but that issue was completely ignored. Instead, he charged me for a timing cover--something I never asked for and that didn't address the actual problem. After keeping my car for weeks, he didn't do anything to get the engine running. When we finally got the car back, we realized it had been completely dismantled. As you can see in the photos, nothing is connected, spark plugs were left in a plastic bag, and he even left one of his SHOP RAGS INSIDE THE ENGINE. This is NOT how the car was brought to him. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to inspect it right away because his shop hours were during my work hours, and all of our communication was over the phone with my girlfriend. We paid over the phone by giving him my card number for manual entry, trusting that he was being honest. Looking back, there were red flags--weeks with no updates, delays before he even looked at the car, and Bruno's attitude on the phone. Because of all this, we decided to tow the car elsewhere for repairs, and that's when we saw the condition it was in. My car was returned in WORSE condition than when it arrived. We ended up getting the engine replaced with a different mechanic and had a MUCH better experience.
