The person on the chat said it's part of the kit and they won't exchange it. Well, they should put somewhere in bold capital letters that ANYTHING that is ordered is considered the "kit" and not just what is in the actual required kit. It was expensive and now I'm stuck with it. I will NEVER order anything that isn't in the required kit. And the chat person was rude about it. Poor customer service - no response, no one to speak to, rude people on chat. And the kits don't even look good on female soccer players. It's like they were all designed for boys in mind.

After visiting several shoe stores, I suggested we stop by Road Runner Sports and I'm so glad we did. Adam was absolutely amazing. He took the time to perform a fit test to evaluate her stance and better understand what type of shoe would best suit her lifestyle and needs. My mom is always hesitant because most stores never have her shoe size in stock, but Adam patiently listened to her concerns and managed to find three different pairs for her to try. What impressed us most was that all three were styles she never would have considered on her own, yet they were incredibly comfortable and fit her perfectly. There is nothing more important than having comfortable shoes. Our feet support our balance and mobility every day, so finally finding shoes that provided both comfort and style meant the world to her. She was so excited that she immediately changed into her new shoes and wore them for the rest of her vacation, constantly commenting on how comfortable and stylish they were. Big bold signs screaming "30% OFF," racks full of mixed items, and then you find out the discount only applies to a small print "fleece only". Meanwhile, similar-looking activewear is sitting right there in the same rack like it belongs. I'll own my part, I didn't see the "fleece only" note. That's on me. But when you've got 20+ pieces of non-sale items sitting in the middle of a rack clearly marked for a discount, that's just bad practice. Feels less like shopping and more like a setup. First asked for clarification about how discounts work. Then a price check. After the sale I walked over to confirm sign. Someone asked me "can J help you", I Asked if this is how they normally do things? And got a casual "yeah" and a shrug. No effort to make it right, no attempt to meet halfway. Brought in a blank Nike replica (~$120 MSRP) Padres jersey to get customized (~$50) as their turnaround time of 15-20 minutes and better looking letter & number patches were desirable over the Padres store (thin heat press names & numbers). Got a Joe Musgrove jersey and the results were not good. While the name itself was passable (definitely issues with the spacing being a bit too far across the back), the numbers were both too low AND spaced out horribly far apart. Noticeable to a casual eye? Maybe, maybe not. To a fan or enthusiast? Horrible. I pointed out the number spacing being off as I got the jersey back and the guy who did it gave some excuse about how the glue on the numbers makes it so that he couldn't get them spaced closer together. And I say an excuse as they had a custom Musgrove on display with far better spacing! With that said, I don't think the guy meant to mess it up but he definitely knew he did. If I could do it all over again as a piece of advice for everyone else, ask whoever makes your custom jersey to let you see the orientation/spacing of your name & numbers before they press it on. Since they use better quality heat press patches, they are basically unable to be removed. They definitely make good customs that I've seen in store & at Petco Park, but I would never go back again for custom jerseys.
