The walnuts were extremely stale and the management simply refused to either change, substitute or offer to comp the dish. Shame on you Wellington. Shame on you. Lazy afternoon that got even lazier searching for a place to eat on an almost typical capital day. Stumbling across this empty corner bar, thinking they are bound to be finished for lunch.......thank god no. The glow from the fire was as welcoming as the greeting from the marvellous wait staff. Craft beers on tap, knowledge about the vast wines and a menu that can suit all tastes. We felt we could not put a fork wrong as we tasted our way through dish after dish of magic. Even a midway trip to the bathroom left us wondering why our supposedly 5 star hotel was not as well equipped. I even stopped during the 3rd round of tapas to write this its that good. While we were glad we were the only ones here we could not help but feel some sort of obligation to let everyone know how good it was. The tip we should have given Logan Brown last night (see last review) will be doubling the one we give here. read more

This was actually our second stop as it was a very busy night in the area. I am glad we decided to wait in the bar for a table. The place was crowded but the hostess said 10 minutes tops, so we ordered beers and waited. 10 minutes later we were at the table. Service was great and the food was as well. We shared many different items, Banderilla, Homemade pork sausages, Pork skin crackling, patatas bravas, Empanada ~ lamb & paprika and Croqueta. All were excellent.
