I needed last minute pet sitting help, and I could not find a place that could take my pup so last minute on such a busy holiday. I called them a day or two before Thanksgiving. They had been booked full for months, but they worked with me and squeezed in an extra spot for my frenchie Bella. I had no other options so I am so glad that it all worked out! Julie is so nice and she sent me updates, pictures and videos of Bella every single day. Bella went to the dog park everyday, and she even got to snuggle with them in their bed! She was spoiled rotten, and I am so glad that she wasn't stuck in a kennel all day. Happy Dog Pet Sitting is great because it's in a comfortable home setting so Bella was not nervous or anxious at all. She felt at home with Julie and Time, and she had a total blast!

I interviewed people who I had been referred to by friends and they found the needs of my pets to be too much (one is mostly blind, another is antisocial, and the third had congestive heart failure). These ladies listened to all of my concerns and assured me they would take good care of my babies. Kirsten is always in contact with me when I go out of town. She sends multiple texts to include pictures, she has won over my antisocial pup, she even picks up after my German Shepherd even though we have a fenced in private yard. If you have any certain little things done while you're gone they'll do their best to accommodate; turn lights on and off, bring in or take out garbage/recycling bins, nit picky feeding instructions, etc. When I need a sitter I just text with the dates and then I pay my bill online after they email me the invoice once the job is done.

The first two times they still had their policy in place that they'd send pictures of our pet everyday when they were let out. We would have to call and beg for these pictures! Even when we did receive the first set of pictures, the next day they "took him out" they sent us the SAME picture from the previous day. When we dropped him off we asked about pictures again but now their policy has changed. They now post pictures on their Facebook for us to see. As soon as I checked their Facebook the most recent picture was 6 days ago!! Their reasoning for changing the policy was because people kept calling them for pictures since they weren't receiving them. We boarded him for 5 full days, one day being a holiday, and we did not see a picture of our pet. Although I don't agree with the harassing calls, pet parents are entrusting you with their loved ones. It's extremely hard to trust them when they don't even follow their own policies and we're left in the dark about our pets well being.
