Unfortunately, we received her renewal offer and her policy pricing had jumped almost 30%. I asked and shopped around and was referred to this agency. A guy answered the phone and could not find my account. He finally said there was a glitch with slow internet. ( I happen to live behind this agency and know they have a T-1 line). I have slow internet-and it 300 mbps. I demanded to speak to the owner. She was on another line and to her credit, she called me back. I told her the problem. she said I was covered (due to auto-renewal) to make my obligation, but nothing was sent over to make this whole because the State Farm internet was not working. My little old modem was working perfectly. Seems harmless, but now I am getting daily harassment from my rental company. Sure, I said some things, but I expect to get what I paid for in advance, not just some silly expensive holiday cards that I would choose not to get from them.

My mom had Safeco Insurance for years and when she passed away a couple of years ago, I kept the…read moresame insurance company. The insurance was canceled after the wildfires but I asked the broker at Safeco, Howard Wood for help. To my dismay, it's been impossible to get him to follow through on completing my insurance policy. He does not answer or return calls. When I called him numerous times one day, he did respond with a text and told me he'd be in touch with me the next day. He didn't call. Why not change brokers? I have tried but the house is older and it's been nearly impossible to get insurance. Since February, Howard has told me not to worry, but all he's done is string me along without any results (or insurance) and endless excuses. It's hard to remember when, if ever, I've been treated with such disregard by a company or salesperson. One thing is certain, it is the worst service I have ever received. Insurance is critical and an absolute necessity-it's there to protect your most expensive asset. To leave an existing client unprotected feels negligent at best, cruel at worst. Safeco has let me down more than I can express, the service is worse than shameless.
