On the third day my husband went to pick him up and found my son running around out in the parking lot, unsupervised. When we demanded an explanation, the director would not accept any responsiblity for it. She said that it was my son's fault, he should have known better. She also said that we must have discipline issues at our house if my child doesn't know better that to exit the building without an adult. HELLO LADY...he's 2. How can she possibly think that a 2 year old can be responsible for decisions like this, if that were the case I wouldn't being paying someone to take care of him! The director is truly a fake and CRAZY!! Don't let this place stereotype all Montessori's, my boys are now at a true, accredited Montessori that has an awesome reputation and we LOVE it!!

At most my autistic nephew learned…read morethat a 65 year old lady was incapable of providing care for him for 1 hour a day for a four year old with autism spectrum disorder. This incompetent woman had the nerve to even say she didn't know he had autism as if she didn't read his enrollment form. Thelma even backed up her employee Ms. Meko after she said the child was acting like a fool. If I could give zero stars I would because childcare and autism is out of Thelma's Element. Horrible value for your buck.

The ladies that work here are so kind and caring. They are really like family at this point. All of the ladies love every single kid. The daycare also provides extra help for children that are struggling with their development. They have a firm hold on everything that goes on within the building and on the children. I HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone and everyone.

The facility is in EXCELLENT, CLEAN condition. Each room full of natural light and is stocked with many fun and interesting activities and Montessori works. My daughter made several friends there. The owner, Dana, is truly a kind and caring person. She handled some Covid situations, which were unavoidable in any business, with extreme tact and professionalism. She showed clear consideration for all students, parents and teachers. I brought my concerns to her and she listened patiently and responded fairly. I had to make sure and leave a review after seeing that one disgruntled person has made an attempt to disparage Dana-- and for some reason Yelp considers that review the only valid one. I hope that anyone looking into Cornerstone will go visit and see for themselves what a great place it is.

We currently have three children (primary, toddler and infant) enrolled at Cornerstone Montessori and are blessed to be a part of their program. We truly have nothing but positive things to say about the Director, Dana Brannon, and the teaching staff in ALL classrooms. We transitioned from another Montessori in Omaha about 2 years ago; were welcomed with open arms and could not believe all of the things we were missing from the Montessori curriculum in our last program. Dana and Team really pride themselves on teaching our little humans to be the best versions of themselves all while grounding their work in the foundations of Maria Montessori and helping our community/friends around us. A few reasons why we love Cornerstone: -They are a well oiled machine -Communication(s) are clear and frequent -Their Montessori teaching curriculum is top notch -Expectations are firm, but fair so the entire class is prioritized -The level of care and compassion for our kiddos does not go unnoticed -Little/No teacher turnover -The facility is clean, bright, welcoming and organized

This is a school district in the local Omaha area. I give it three stars because they don't give…read morekids snow days they do give them e-learning days. That means elementary schools use their iPads to do schoolwork. And middle and high schools use their laptops to do schoolwork. They should just give the kids freaking snow days. also the drop off at all schools are kinda crappy and uncoordinated. That one middle school named Andersen the Drop off line it's OK, but the exit is the problem. PS cars are constantly turning in to that lane to get to the parking lot in the back. I don't understand why they can't have a second road leading to the back. This is kind of annoying when I have to go and I get stuck in a traffic jam. I Kinda recommend them, staff are nice and friendly. My brother with autism is well cared for and if he's tired or mad they'll let him take a nap. Really appreciate it. At upchurch elementary they have a turn lane to pick up kids in the fourth and fifth grade area. They have a parking lot near the drop off lane is longer. There are three from 3 doors to leave from, so kindergarten and first grade leave out the front door.. Second graders and third-graders without the second door fourth graders and fifth graders graders leave out the third door. Except for a lot of the parents are kind of idiots. Because apparently the laws of traffic don't apply there. Not trying to be negative. But overall if you want a safe school and friendly staff, but sucky pick up and drop off, I recommend Millard. The inside the schools are clean but lunch is expensive. They do have a free and reduced lunch if you made a certain amount in a year. So this is trying to help.
