I registered at the kiosk, then stepped out into the hall, waiting for a text saying that I was next up. Received my text at 10:01 a.m., so not wonderful, but at least I was about to be seen . . . or so I thought. I started to get a little concerned about 30 minutes later, because my name hadn't been called . . . but hardly any one's name had been called, so maybe everyone was receiving as horrible service as me. I couldn't even go to the counter to ask the lady how much longer it would be because there was a line at the counter !!! Finally, at 10:50 a.m., I burrowed my way up the counter, and pointed out it was 10:50 a.m., and I arrived for my 9:30 a.m. appointment on time. She looked up my name and said she had called it twice, no one had come, so she had removed me. I was dumbfounded, of course, but shouldn't have been surprised. Bad on me, because I had been to this same location about a year ago, and remember getting bad service, then, too.

Crooked; LabCorp charged me a $431.55 line item (total invoice over $1k) for a blood test my doctor…read moredidn't order (dr gave me a copy of the standard blood tests that WERE ordered). Called LabCorp; they make it nearly impossible to talk to a real person, you have to end up choosing a selection from the automated system that doesn't match what you need just to talk to someone. They just said to call my doctor, but as mentioned, my doctor didn't order the test and the bill is coming directly from LabCorp. This is the 2nd time this has happened since moving to Kansas--healthcare here is jacked up--it's like they charge extra services just to see if you are checking the details, and then test your determination as they send you in circles and make-up excuses without any resolution. According to the invoice, test were run at the Overland Park, KS location...although bill also lists a NC location for payments???

Review Absolutely horrible experience using this lab. basically theft and fraud…read more After this experience with them, I genuinely question their ethics completely. they should NOT be trusted for accurate results I am a clinical provider. I was ordering tests for myself. I have ordered from them before, I'm well Aware of my food, allergies and mold exposure test results. I simply was ordering again to update my clinical values. Again, I have tested myself using their laboratory before. I tested off the charts for mold exposure, and have many food allergies, which is common in these days. Both tests that I ordered came back with absolutely no test results whatsoever. Not a single food allergy or mold exposure even in the slightest.. Not a single value was shown on either of these tests. They were basically blank standard forms. Which makes absolutely no sense, obviously there was a problem with these tests and these were not accurate test results. However, each and every time I called them to try and address the issue they acted as if nothing was wrong. I was completely Gaslit. On the third occasion of calling them, they promised someone would email me after looking at my test results. No one ever did. The fourth time I called them they insisted I make yet another appointment to talk to one of their clinical advisers about my test results, which were obviously, none. can you imagine that? talk to our specialists about tests with NO RESULTS In the end i will have wasted nearly 4 hours dealing with this issue. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE ]I can't imagine as a professional, referring my patients to their practice. Over $1400 of testing was ordered. They should be sued. Please let it be known there are other reviews of this business under their previous name. Great plains lab, including someone else who had the exact same experience as me. She ordered tests, they showed absolutely nothing. She ordered from another lab, she was off the charts.

I've been using them for years. They are great even though you have to wait a while for results…read more(some of the specialty labs take a while to complete). No real complaints. There's no way they can do most of these complex labs in 1-3 days so I'm not sure where the other reviewer got her information. Most send out labs even at a lab like Quest or LabCorp when they can't do them in house the turn abound time is at least 7-10 days

Absolutely horrible do not go here. Never in my life have I felt compelled to leave a bad review…read morebut this was genuinely one of the scariest experiences I've ever had and cannot imagine the laws that were broken in the process. I arrived with my labs to be drawn and was greeted by two young nurses who took turns deciding who wanted to do it, so unprofessional to start. Then they decided to do it together, aw so fun except for the fact that both of them were incredibly inexperienced. They began trying to find a vein and couldn't for the life of them. I've had blood drawn many times and have been told I have a perfect vein for it, which I even showed them. They poked me a total of 5 times and were MOVING the needle around inside my arm. NEVER GOT A VEIN. I passed out completely cold and they were laughing and joking to eachother trying to figure out what to do. I am a young woman who is in the medical field and couldn't believe what was going on. After passing out twice, I asked if I could lay down so they said, "yeah you can go to that room" and proceeded to watch me walk myself over there while half unconscious. I've never passed out from needles but felt nausea, extreme sweating, and was pale as a ghost. They were looking at eachother the entire time trying to figure out what to do as if they've never done it before. They said to eachother "should we get Buck" and I said yes please. I was silent the entire time but knew I literally wouldn't make it home if they kept trying. I was wearing a dress, laying with my feet toward the door. Buck comes in and says "you are always supposed to either cover her or close the door because she's wearing a dress". Great, and don't you know it, moments after he said that a strange man walked past my door, looked directly up my dress, and buck had to tell him to go back to the lobby. Why was there a strange person just roaming around anyway? And why the hell was I not covered up if that was the policy. Of course, buck gets the blood drawn on the first try. Whatever you do, do not go if you value your safety and dignity. Other helpers let me know if I should sue...

After having multiple failed…read moreattempts at my doctor's office over the years, I found that Quest was able to find my veins quickly and painlessly. However, the last few times I have gone to this location, I was treated horribly because they couldn't find my veins. If you see Ron, then run. The first time I saw him, he was bragging about how he was the best for those who are hard sticks, but he then proceeded to lecture me about my pre existing conditions and try to tell me what medications and supplements I should be taking though I never asked and was only there for labs. Then he proceeded to not be able to find my veins and have to get someone else to do it. A couple of weeks ago, I went to this location again bc he was the only bad experience I had had until then. However, the tech I did see said she couldn't find a good vein and sent me to him. I didn't love that but decided to give him a chance. He then told me that I should have had more water to drink and that I didn't dress warmly enough bc if I had it would be easier to find a vein etc. I had enough and said I would come back another day. The next week, I had a ton of water to drink and even had 32 ounces of water in the 2 hours before I came in. The same tech said she couldn't find anything and sent me to Ron. He said the same things to me. He put a warmer on my hand and lectured me about water and warm clothes and I informed him I had done both (obviously I can't wear gloves or long sleeves while I'm actually getting the blood draw so I'm not sure what he wanted from me). He then stuck my hand without using the tourniquet first and dug around making disapproving noises. Eventually, he removed the needle and said he would try again. I told him no and he went on to repeat his tired advice which I had already followed. How is it that all of the sudden no one here can find a vein? I know I'm a hard stick but I'm hydrated and the veins are in there. I told him that I was tired of being treated like I had done something wrong even when I did everything they said and I can't help that this is how my veins are. Not sure how someone whose job is to draw blood can be so bad at it.

Today o came in at 10:30a. I appreciate that while there is an electronic check in process initially, the staff ISN'T behind locked doors so you have access to staff if there are issues. I can see one lady has been there for quite some time (no constant turnover). The tech who did my bloodwork easily recognized I needed a butterfly needle that I had forgotten to mention. I am so glad I can continue to come here without an issue. Shout out to the staff I met today at this LabCorp.

By cutting cost this might mean less staff and a kiosk for you to do a self check in. As I checked in on my phone in what I would describe as the easiest check in i've ever experienced. An elderly man was having trouble with the kiosk, which I understand is problematic for the older generations. He peaked his head in and caught the eye of the only staff member there, Natasha. She promptly came out to help the gentleman walking him through with step by step guidance. The man, clearly frustrated, made a few remarks voicing his frustration. I just wanted to say 2 things. Natasha, handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and grace. She was also very good at her job drawing blood, probably the most pleasant blood draw I've had. Also, it's a shame our health care system has to come to a point where elderly people are having trouble accessing it due to the greed of health insurance companies and facilities alike.
