just came for a job medical appointment. got here around…read more1230pm. was the 5th person in the waiting room. got my paperwork filled out. receptionist called me to the desk to fill out more. got the paperwork she typed a completEly wrong name. handed it back to here. which she continued to talk about what she was going to get for lunch. as this has happened the 4 people in front on me have come and gone along with 10 more people. it is now 2pm and still haven't been called back.

But they gave me a handwritten note saying to research two medication options listed on the paper and let them know which one I want to take. Hmmm, how would I know what I need to take if my results aren't back yet? I requested a call back from the doc to get answers to my questions.....still waiting. If I could give a negative number as a rating, I most certainly would. My next step is to appeal my claim.

I can confidently say I will never go to one again. The doctors are nice, sure, but so incredibly unhelpful that it is such a bad look on Saint Luke's as a corporation. I went to the urgent care for a persistent what I thought was a UTI, the test came back negative and the only thing they mentioned it could be was IC (a condition of the bladder they said I would have to live with for the rest of my life). IT WAS A KIDNEY STONE THE SIZE OF A RAISIN THAT THEY NEVER MENTIONED WAS AN OPTION. Again with ear infections they have proved to be so unhelpful... providing me with Amoxicillin which I told them doesn't work unless I have Prednisone with it. Nah, they have just said (under 5 days of seeing them originally btw) come back to see us. I'm not wasting any more money on you, are you crazy? For you to not even give me the medication I need. Moral of the story, don't give Saint Luke's Convenient Care of any kind any business. They won't help you. Go to any other urgent care and get treated and respected.

It doesn't mean what you think. For $10 you'd think you're going to have a Health Department type experience. Nope! Not even close. This place operates like a normal doctors office. You are not treated like a number here. It's just like going to see your trusted family doctor. You can even open an account for their online portal and make appointments. Dental and Behavioral Health services are also available They offer free HIV and hepatitis testing as well as flu shots. They have a pharmacy and blood lab on site. God bless the people behind this facility and the services they offer. This is one of the top gems in the KC community. I truly feel comfortable going here and the staff and services can be trusted.

The staff are caring. The checkin a breeze…read more The wait was noticeably long. My provider was running behind so makes for a long wait when you combine coming in for labs in the same day. I voiced my feedback to the checkin specialist and nurse assistant when I finally got into the room. I know some provider give patients notice ahead of their appointments and before they arrive, when they run behind, hopefully this can considered.
