Horrible, horrible service at the LabCorp at 10600 Quivera in Overland Park, KS. Showed up for my…read more9:30 a.m. appointment this morning, and the waiting room was packed, no place to sit down, which is not a good sign. I registered at the kiosk, then stepped out into the hall, waiting for a text saying that I was next up. Received my text at 10:01 a.m., so not wonderful, but at least I was about to be seen . . . or so I thought. I started to get a little concerned about 30 minutes later, because my name hadn't been called . . . but hardly any one's name had been called, so maybe everyone was receiving as horrible service as me. I couldn't even go to the counter to ask the lady how much longer it would be because there was a line at the counter !!! Finally, at 10:50 a.m., I burrowed my way up the counter, and pointed out it was 10:50 a.m., and I arrived for my 9:30 a.m. appointment on time. She looked up my name and said she had called it twice, no one had come, so she had removed me. I was dumbfounded, of course, but shouldn't have been surprised. Bad on me, because I had been to this same location about a year ago, and remember getting bad service, then, too.

Crooked; LabCorp charged me a $431.55 line item (total invoice over $1k) for a blood test my doctor…read moredidn't order (dr gave me a copy of the standard blood tests that WERE ordered). Called LabCorp; they make it nearly impossible to talk to a real person, you have to end up choosing a selection from the automated system that doesn't match what you need just to talk to someone. They just said to call my doctor, but as mentioned, my doctor didn't order the test and the bill is coming directly from LabCorp. This is the 2nd time this has happened since moving to Kansas--healthcare here is jacked up--it's like they charge extra services just to see if you are checking the details, and then test your determination as they send you in circles and make-up excuses without any resolution. According to the invoice, test were run at the Overland Park, KS location...although bill also lists a NC location for payments???

Entirely unprofessional company. After having done business with this company for years they are…read morestill rude and behave disgustingly. They now send us a report once a week for our business when it used to be daily because, and these are their words, "You're all lazy and incompetent." They send things by fax, which is often, as we all know, not the most reliable thing and if we ask them to just refax the report they literally yell at our employees and tell us how we need to learn how to do our jobs. They are not interested in whether or not you get all the information you need in order to process the clients (they do on location drug screening) nor are they interested in how long it takes, but the moment you don't have a check in their hand within a week of a service they are calling nonstop offering to come pick up payments. I am an employee of one of the most successful and largest hospitals in the region. Our boss can't stand working with them, and neither can our clients, but I've been told they are one of the only companies in the area that offer these types of services. If all these were not enough, they seem to have a problem with women more than men. If one of the male employees calls they are more often than not civil, if not friendly, and generally business like. If a woman calls they are condescending and rude.

Today o came in at 10:30a. I appreciate that while there is an electronic check in process initially, the staff ISN'T behind locked doors so you have access to staff if there are issues. I can see one lady has been there for quite some time (no constant turnover). The tech who did my bloodwork easily recognized I needed a butterfly needle that I had forgotten to mention. I am so glad I can continue to come here without an issue. Shout out to the staff I met today at this LabCorp.

This 5 star review is for Natasha. As many of us have realized, due to decreasing reimbursements…read morefrom the government and insurance companies, medical facilities end up cutting more and more cost. By cutting cost this might mean less staff and a kiosk for you to do a self check in. As I checked in on my phone in what I would describe as the easiest check in i've ever experienced. An elderly man was having trouble with the kiosk, which I understand is problematic for the older generations. He peaked his head in and caught the eye of the only staff member there, Natasha. She promptly came out to help the gentleman walking him through with step by step guidance. The man, clearly frustrated, made a few remarks voicing his frustration. I just wanted to say 2 things. Natasha, handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and grace. She was also very good at her job drawing blood, probably the most pleasant blood draw I've had. Also, it's a shame our health care system has to come to a point where elderly people are having trouble accessing it due to the greed of health insurance companies and facilities alike.

Absolutely horrible do not go here. Never in my life have I felt compelled to leave a bad review…read morebut this was genuinely one of the scariest experiences I've ever had and cannot imagine the laws that were broken in the process. I arrived with my labs to be drawn and was greeted by two young nurses who took turns deciding who wanted to do it, so unprofessional to start. Then they decided to do it together, aw so fun except for the fact that both of them were incredibly inexperienced. They began trying to find a vein and couldn't for the life of them. I've had blood drawn many times and have been told I have a perfect vein for it, which I even showed them. They poked me a total of 5 times and were MOVING the needle around inside my arm. NEVER GOT A VEIN. I passed out completely cold and they were laughing and joking to eachother trying to figure out what to do. I am a young woman who is in the medical field and couldn't believe what was going on. After passing out twice, I asked if I could lay down so they said, "yeah you can go to that room" and proceeded to watch me walk myself over there while half unconscious. I've never passed out from needles but felt nausea, extreme sweating, and was pale as a ghost. They were looking at eachother the entire time trying to figure out what to do as if they've never done it before. They said to eachother "should we get Buck" and I said yes please. I was silent the entire time but knew I literally wouldn't make it home if they kept trying. I was wearing a dress, laying with my feet toward the door. Buck comes in and says "you are always supposed to either cover her or close the door because she's wearing a dress". Great, and don't you know it, moments after he said that a strange man walked past my door, looked directly up my dress, and buck had to tell him to go back to the lobby. Why was there a strange person just roaming around anyway? And why the hell was I not covered up if that was the policy. Of course, buck gets the blood drawn on the first try. Whatever you do, do not go if you value your safety and dignity. Other helpers let me know if I should sue...
