Megan helped me to work stealthily behind my husband's back so it would surprise him. She allowed me to place my order by text. I sent her a price range that I was happy with and she said it would be no problem. I ordered on a Friday and she delivered the arrangement to the daycare (so that I could sneakily pick them up) on Monday. The arrangement was absolutely gorgeous! I would have been very happy to have received them myself and my husband was surprised and loved them as well. Since Megan specializes in roses and orchids, the arrangements are both beautiful and a little bit different (in a good way). We loved their small milk jugs in pastel green or blue, which can easily double as a flower vase. A nice reminder of my island visit on my kitchen bench. They have a lovely range of flower posies and bouquets on display in store and are always busy in the background fulfilling their Waiheke Island daily flower deliveries or doing amazing wedding flowers. I gave 1,2,3 Plus 3 stars though for the exceptionally friendly owner. A sweet Chinese man with a big grin, he has more than the typical 'Hi' & 'Thank you' to offer you. He goes out of his way to wish you a 'Happy Easter' and plays some great tunes, such as the 'Phantom of the Opera' suite. I was immediately warmed by his big heart and wanted to stay a bit longer. I'm not a huge fan of discount stores, but I'm usually dragged in by my bargain hunting mother. At least I wanted to stay in this one for a while, and sing along to 'All I Ask of You'.
