This is not a review for work done because we did not yet choose a company. However, Oscar was so…read morecourteous and professional that I felt he deserved acknowledgement and earned a 5 star review for doing the following: 1. He showed up a few minutes before the set appointment 2. He and is partner were both wearing a mask. This impressed me because I've had several service reps come to my home without masks! 3. He automatically took his shoes off before entering my home 4. He did not try to upsell me on the work to be done. 5. I received an itemized and professional invoice before he pulled out of the parking spot. Even though we did not choose him for this job, that does not mean I won't reach out to him for another job. I felt his pricing was fair but my husband felt we should continue to shop around. Who's to say that we won't end up going with him, after all? I have never given a review based upon an estimate but Oscar was so professional and courteous and that is something that is seriously lacking from MANY service reps these days. If we contract him for the work, I will update the review with pictures and add a review for the work performed

Avoid at All Costs - Unreliable and Dishonest…read more I hired King Ellis for sodding and tree trimming based on what appeared to be positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After taking a deposit upfront, King gave me multiple dates for when the work would begin--and each time, he was a no-show. No courtesy calls, no updates, just empty promises. Eventually, he completely disappeared. No responses to texts, calls, or messages--just full-on ghosted me. It's clear now that he had no intention of doing the work after taking the deposit. This is unprofessional, unethical, and borderline fraudulent. I strongly caution anyone considering working with him or his company. Do not trust King Ellis. He took my money and vanished. I have since reported him on Thumbtack and recommend others do the same to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY…read more Cheikh Senghor of Lion Fence LLC (an administratively dissolved entity in the state of Georgia) entered into contract with me totaling $14685,75 all taxes include. I paid the required deposit of $9500 for the purchase of material with the balance to be paid at the completion of the fence installation. He never purchased material, never installed my fence and has failed to refund my $9500. We paid our deposit by the end of January and for 6 weeks, Cheikh Senghor gave numerous excuses why the fence work could not start: 1. It's raining where the material is located (even though it wasn't raining at my home) 2. He had to fire the business "partner" who had to work on my fence 3. The babysitter got rear-ended so he had to watch the baby 4.The day before another promised start date, he asked, did you call 811? I said yes. They never showed up. 5. His wife had to work so he had to watch the baby. 6. It rained the night before. Again, no rain at my property and Atlanta had amazing whether during the month of February. 7. He's sick. Leaves a message coughing. And, doctors can diagnose what's wrong with him. 8. He's at the doctor 7. He has Jummah at 2:15pm EST so can't send receipts showing he spent the $9500 or part thereof on material. He never sent proof. 8. He has to watch the baby 9. He's sick and "still at the doctor's appointment" 10. Work will start in the morning, "for sure", no work, no workers, no material. There are more excuses. I continuously asked him what was honestly causing the delay. I asked him about the material. He told me it was on his trailer. Then, on Friday, March 10, he told my fiancé that it was at a fence supplier located in Marietta, GA. We called the supplier and, yup, you guessed it, there was no such order ever placed and no such order pending pickup. We gave him many benefits of the doubt. He was scheduled to start work on Monday, March 13 and on Sunday, March 12, he sent a message at 10:42pm stating that he was canceling the contract. I was not surprised. He is a scam artist. He said I would get my refund in full today. And as of 10pm, on Monday, March 13, I haven't received a penny towards his repayment of my $9500. DO NOT TRUST CHEIKH SENGHOR. AND, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM IN ANY CAPACITY. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LION FENCE. LION FENCE isn't a registered entity in the state of Georgia. This company was referred to me by a neighbor who had a great experience when the company was new and growing. That was then, this is now. As you can see from recent reviews, I am not alone in my distaste for the dishonesty and unprofessionalism shown by Mr. Senghor.

He explained what was going on and offered a few options with an assessment of how likely they would be to save the tree. Unfortunately the high heat and dry weather stressed this tree enough to attract Ambrosia beetles. They had infested the tree. It was only a matter of weeks before it completely died. Decided to have them remove the tree and grind the stump. Stuart gave me a quote immediately and was able to have a team out the next day. Guys show up a little early, super professional. Got the job done and cleaned up in abounds hour. If the tree can be saved they will. If not, they can remove it before it becomes a problem. Highly recommended.
