e. Lastly, I felt very safe with their COVID precautions; she was wearing a mask and plastic face shield during the entire treatment

She gave me the break down for day passes based on age and price, and then told me gym hours. I explained to her what my daughter did, her age and that my daughter just needed a tread and we'd be there tomorrow . When we arrived, we were told she couldn't buy a pass and could only participate in classes. None of this mentioned before. I wasted a half day and private car service to get to this gym so she could work out. I called ahead of time to ensure it would be okay and yet still the staff's lack of training or even basic knowledge of spa/gym rules caused us a major headache on vacay. If we were in a non touristy town, I'd probably be more understanding but cmon, the least this expensive hotel could do is train their staff on basics so not to inconvenience guests and potential customers. Of course when I asked to speak to a manager so that they were aware of what occurred so they could work on training, she was coincidentally unavailable. I also called and asked for her twice after this experience. My phone call checking in on guest passes for the gym was at 11:15 on 12/30. I'd encourage you to train people who work for a supposed high end establishment.

About an hour after my service was done and I had left the spa, the gel polish started lifting on my toe nails and 5 of them peeled off almost instantly. I believe this was because of how thick it was put on and the fact that it was painted over my skin causing it to separate almost instantly. We were staying an hour away from the spa and had to leave the following day to drive home, so I did not have time to go back and get the issue fixed. I sent a note to management expressing my frustration because I spent 4x what I would normally spend on this service and expected more, but did not hear back.

She was able to relax all of the tension in my entire body and the facial was over the top, leaving my skin youthful, rejuvenated and glowing. I finished in the magical healing energy of salt cave. The facility is clean and beautiful filled with crystals and good energy! It is a must stop in Telluride and Jo made the experience over the top. I will definitely be back.

I came in and asked for the same day massage and was recommended a deep stretch in the salt cave. As I was trying to move my work meetings around to accommodate a treatment, the front desk said cost is $115 for deep stretch for 45 min then as I was waiting for a text back from my boss, she suggested I do the infrared sauna before hand to be warm. She didn't say it was an add on or provide the cost of the add on. It seemed like she was trying to sweeten the deal to convince me to schedule so once I confirmed I could be available (my boss texted me back), I verbally confirmed with her the price would be $115 plus 20% gratuity. Fast forward to check out after the services were completed, the screen flipped around to reveal $246 including 20% gratuity on both services (also 20% gratuity on a sauna service where the only interaction was showing me to the room where the sauna was-absurd!) . Of course I said something because I specifically confirmed with her a price that was less than half of what I was being charged. The owner comes out and engages the conversation saying that she would review the camera and that she must pay her providers. "Totally understand I'm happy to pay but the price is not what was agreed upon."- my response. I specifically verbally confirmed because it seemed like a great deal. Waiting on camera footage to prove I'm not lying now. Quick way to undo the incredible treatment I just received. Word of advice, book online if you book here at all but for $246 I would recommend going literally anywhere else. Hoping after the owner reviews the camera footage, she will honor the price discussed. I know it's 2025 but if you can't rely on someone's word, probably shouldn't be giving them your business.

Mixed review. The hotel and hotel staff are superb!…read more And some of the spa staff are wonderful. But just make sure you know what you're buying before going in. The massage I had was sublime! The girl was awesome (apologies as I can't remember her name). She was polite, professional and an excellent MT. Then after my massage, I had requested a 30 min facial to give it a try as I had never one before. Well, apparently I was given a 60 min facial and, of course, charged for it. As i was still wonderfully foggy from my massage, i had no clue as to the time. Then when I left the spa, it was all just charged back to the room. When I went to check out the next day and reviewed the charges, I was very surprised to find that I had been charged more than I had expected. The front desk kindly called up to the spa to discuss the charges and the spa was obviously insistent that they were right. So much so, that the front desk staff person said that she would send me up to discuss with them. After a terse & brief visit to the spa, I was told, in no uncertain terms, that I received a 60 min facial and so that's what I was charged for, even though I had only booked a 30min one. Oh, and lots of truly insincere "I'm sorrys" but without any move to try and reconcile or make amends for the mixup. Thankfully, when I went back down to the front desk, the guest services staff person actually listened to what I had to say and offered help in the form of a discount. The cost between a 30 min and 60 min facial is $100 and the discount didn't cover all of that but the offer itself also helped to ease the pain. I highly recommend the hotel and all of the hotel staff. Just beware of the spa and be very clear on what you're booking AND what you've been charged for before leaving the spa.

My husband and I both treated ourself to a massage (I added a mini facial) while our children were at ski school. We both felt disappointed with our services. The massage felt very sporadic and all over the place. We both requested "hard pressure", which felt more like a light touch/rub. Having regular massages back home we do have standards of pressure and energy. The lotion / oil used was so cold that it made the massage a bit uncomfortable, I think being in the winter months it would be nice to use a heated oil. For a portion of the massage little lotion was used and it felt like my skin was being pinched and pulled. The facial was nice hydration however it was definitely not worth the cost. I've never experienced a facial where a cloth headband wasn't placed around my face. All the lotion and oil was rubbed into my hair and it felt uncomfortable as she was cleansing my face feeling all my hair being pulled into it. I also left with a greasy hairline. I would have thought for $65 it would have had some steam? The massage therapist was so kind and genuinely nice, but it didn't feel like either of them actually did this for their main job. We both left feeling like it was a waste of money and time :( I really don't like leaving a review that's negative but for the money spent, we were disappointed.
