I just had the most incredible massage with Sarah L. I've had many massages but I've never had one more technically impressive and effective. I felt so relaxed, loose, and rejuvenated. It even helped resolve some pain that I was having in my leg after days of camping. my color processed too long causing my roots to be a different color from my outer hair. I sent an email and was told they would correct. however, did not want anymore chemicals on my hair. I was billed a significant amount more for this root color touch up than in the past and as listed on the website. that was corrected. then there evidently is now a 9%amenitie fee for the residential hot tub on the roof in the condo portion of the building. I'm not sure how that relates to a hair color treatment, but I did not pay that additional fee...... I'm not a resident of the building and not sure what would happen if the salon guests were to use it. there is also no mention that that is available for patrons of the salon getting hair color Treatment. read more

We were on vacay and I always like to get some pampering in when I can! I decided to go with a facial this trip and had a great one here! I booked a 75 minute dual exfoliation peel facial and it was lovely! All of their products are plant based and natural which I love, especially since I'm pregnant! They do not do any "picking"or extractions, this was simply relaxing and rejuvenating. I loved the heated bed, along with the neck, arm and foot massage. It really made me feel like I go the royal treatment! The crisp mountain air makes my skin so dry which made this hydrating facial extra necessary while there for a week! I would recommend this lovely day spa in Telluride. They don't have all of the FULL spa amenities, i.e. steam room, jacuzzi, etc. hence 'day spa' but their relaxing waiting room is lovely and they offer you tea and water while you wait! The services are pricey - a little over $200 including gratuity for a facial but after researching spa treatments in the area, I learned this was pretty standard for Telluride. Lastly, I felt very safe with their COVID precautions; she was wearing a mask and plastic face shield during the entire treatment. read more

Booked makeup for my wedding day and a week before cancelled because makeup was included with my wedding day hair. When I called to cancel they claimed to never have me booked! Umm, what? Checked my name in different spellings and phone numbers- no record. So glad I had a backup plan! My credit card was charged a few days later- but how if I was never booked to begin with? Talked with the owner (Daura) and she finally made it right after multiple discussions- apparently they booked me via phone and is not a "standard practice" for bridal bookings. And they had me under a different name on a date 4 days prior to my wedding. Pitiful excuse, followed with "but did you still get married". Yep and not on the date they charged me for. Needless to say I got my money back but still a piss-poor experience. Wouldn't recommend this place. read more

The nail tech was 10 minutes late & did not apologize for keeping me waiting (my appointment was at 9;00 when the salon opened, so she was not behind, just late). Meanwhile, the client in the pedicure chair next to me had her tech offering her hot tea, magazines, etc. I didn't get so much as a smile or "thank you" out of my tech. She was obviously in a hurry to get me out of the chair; hence, her acting annoyed when I asked for lotion rubbed on my hands after my manicure. When I asked for it she blew her breath & threw some lotion on there. It's a shame. I visit Telluride a lot & could be a loyal customer. Services were overall good and both massage/facial therapists were very kind. Services were very pricey which I was ok with being on vacay. However, the lack of disclosing "service charges" before providing service or even after for that matter was very disappointing. It was 15.30$ for a facial and 13.50 for the massage. That was not including 20% gratuity either. I didn't find out about the service charge until I went back the next day requesting an itemized receipt. I have never had a service charge for any massage type of services so I was quite confused and disappointed. read more

I was walking by and thought I would get a massage. I have degenerated disc disease so I suffer from back pain that radiates down my leg. I get massages every other week. I walked in and they scheduled within the hour. I had Sara and she was AWESOME!!! She knew human anatomy. She knew where you were hurting. She is strong and can manipulate you body so your muscles release their own tension. Thank you Sara for not only a great massage but helping to reduce my pain!!! My experience at the Aveda Telluride spa was amazing.! Everyone was so attentive. I had a plant peel facial which was the most relaxing and my skin was amazing afterwards I turned 58 that day 58 , and I felt much younger after my experience. I also had a massage which was also amazing. She asked me where my sore points where, . I told her my back and she learned it was actually my neck and she worked mostly on my neck! ,and my back was so much better she knew!! thank you for such a gifted staff! I called the salon several times over the course of a few days to book a nail appointment but no one ever answered. As a result, I made an appointment online (you are required to prepay) to have my SNS nails removed and to have a shellac manicure. When I showed up they told me they could not remove SNS and that I should have seen that on their website and due to their 24 hour cancellation they would not refund my money. I assume they are correct and that this information was on the website but I failed to study their website before booking my appointment. The manager was not one bit apologetic. She basically said I should have seen it on the website and did not offer any remedy. If they answered the phone ever that would be helpful to avoid the confusion. read more

Had a pedi today and was impressed with the environment and service, which is more impressive during COVID. They kept the spa atmosphere but with distancing and care.
