Came to this Aveeda location in the Perimeter mall in Dunwoody.Ga. Staff was incredibly helpful. I did a blowout for an event that night and needed some smoothing creme. RJ let me try a few products and even smoothed out my ponytail. Their customer service was very hands on and appreciated . I would absolutely return if lived in this area. I was sent a promotional card in the mail for a sample of their new product. I called The perimeter mall store , because it specified this store . I called the store before going and asked about the samples . He said yes they were giving them out , but failed to mention that they were out of samples . So I made the trip for nothing. The employees were apologetic and said they could put some in my hair right there but I did not want it in my hair that moment l contacted customer service chat on line and they were not even aware of the promotion. I needed advise on products best suited for my needs, and I was directed the right way. The shampoo and conditioner suggested has saved my hair from falling out. I always call to make an order and the staff/team are always so sweet and helpful. I always get a sweet Thank You card with my purchase. Very thoughtful. It makes me feel like they appreciate my business and I always get my product quickly through the mail. Staff here is overall warmer than at the Lenox location, although the manager at the Lenox Mall is is nice. The store has a nice a decor and products and overall, staff is patient and helpful in answering questions and placing orders. read more

The first review I left was for the Lennox location- whoops. Let's try this again! I scheduled a facial for this location and was 20 mins late (damn holiday traffic). The ladies were so sweet and understanding. Eventually it was only the manager who helped me as everyone got off shift at 6:30. The manager multitasked by helping customers and attending to me- she was very attentive and great at dividing her attention and I was understanding because I was late. The facial was great- she explained every product beautifully and took her time. It felt customized and relaxing. She listened and shared just the right amount. We even came up with the idea to do some mother/ daughter facials and environmental science programming together (I work with Girl Scouts)! What a great business and overall experience! Got a free oil (hey birthday) and bought some face cream cleanser (she tried this on me and it's delightful) even though I was trying to save (whoops!). Will definitely come to this store for future purchases! read more

Aveda Perimeter is great to their customers! This is my usual location for getting my hair and body products, and I've heard and seen really great things happening at this store. First, I've had friend's who've accidentally left packages in the store and the staff at Aveda Perimeter has literally tracked them down to make sure the abandoned merchandise was returned to the owner. Second, I've been offered, and have accepted, more product demonstrations (I think they're called "experiences" by the staff), than any other beauty product store I've ever walked into. Third, the staff is always knowledgeable and willing to impart that knowledge to the point of confusion... sometimes. I mean, when a person starts rattling off the scientific names of the plants in the product and recounts the healing properties ad infinitum, there comes a point when you lose the customer. Just sayin'. Sometimes, I've wanted to say: I have a zit, will this dry it up? That's really all I need to know. Fourth, I've actually gotten a call from them when one of my favorite products was being discontinued. RIP Inspiritu. (A moment of silence, please.) So, with all that said, I think Aveda Perimeter rocks. Sometimes there's too much info, and sometimes I get tired of having tea shoved in my face, and sometimes I feel a little too pressured to buy, but when all is said and done, these people go above and beyond. read more

Very unpleasant service. When I was looking for conditioner that had the same odor of my shampoo, and as I was about to check out, another salesperson had said that I would only buy the conditioner since it was on sale. The staff had amazing terrible attitude towards the customers and would not recommend this location. Felt some racist behavior towards the minorities. read more

I have been going to the Aveda for two years getting highlights and was advised to bleach my roots which I did for several months but stopped because I really did not like it that light I have always just used my own hair color for low lights but for the past several months I noticed that my hair was getting thinner not realizing that it had been breaking as fast as it was growing and it is growing 1/2 inch a month. you can imagine how upsetting this is. I went to another hair designer outside Aveda and she applied olaplex no. 1 and than no.2 to help with the damage I have since ordered no.3 which clients and use at home once a week. look up their web page and they explain how you who want blond hair can always keep your hair healthy and strong I hope this helps everyone who has dry hair from highlighting or who wants to go blond. read more

This store is the best! The quality of Aveda products is always high, but the full experience is really rounded out at Aveda Perimeter Mall. I went in last weekend for a facial with Silke (who was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable) to try the new Tulasara line and pick up some of my usual products. The team at this store never makes you feel pressured to buy, are all very knowledgeable about the products, and always offer some delicious tea. It's always a joy to shop here! read more

They judge you based on your race. I have been using Aveda shampoo for two to three years and now I am about to change. Such a disgusting experience in my life. I guess the manager who was black female in this store is racist af to Asians. This happened in 2019. Jan. 13 : I was passing by the store and noticed that the conditioner which is same line of my aveda shampoo was on sale. so I picked one and went to checkout. During checkout, I asked the staff whether this item is good or not and the staff was explaining and recommending me another item. At that moment, a person who seemed like a manager came over to the staff, cut what staff was explaining to me and said, "she came here before, she is buying this item because this is on sale. (Clicking something on the screen) just go ahead to check out" and made me to paid right after. I was so shocked that she said those words right in front of me.
