DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They showed an item available on their site, and after multiple emails back and forth, I requested to cancel the order. Over 24 hours after requesting to cancel the order, the item was still delivered, but was much smaller than I had paid for and ordered. The company's only offer to resolve this was to pick up the item delivered or give me a 50% discount. Even after I requested to cancel the order. This is not acceptable customer service! If I could give ZERO stars I would, but their rating system says 1 star is "fair", this is far from "fair"... read more

You might think that Ava's Flowers is a quaint little flower shop on the corner but it's really a website that collects orders and charges a $25 service fee. If you have a problem you get an agent from out of the country. I won't use them again. read more

Total scam. Presents as being from your home town on Google. Does not complete order. Do not use.

Deceptive business practices. When informed that the bouquet I ordered wasn't available I got a message that I could choose another bouquet for no additional charge but I was charged $30 more. After talking & on hold to a rep in Delaware for an hour when I requested a cancellation, I was informed I could not cancel the order or receive a refund. Toward the end of the call I was promised a $30 gift card but when I tried to use it I only had a $12 credit. And getting in touch is difficult to impossible. read more

April 28, 2026 RE: Formal Complaint: Failed Delivery and Deceptive Business Practices Regarding: Flowers by Eva / Flowers by Ava / Ava's Flowers Background On April 1, 2026, I searched for florists in Two Harbors, Minnesota, and identified three businesses with nearly identical names: Flowers by Eva, Flowers by Ava, and Ava's Flowers. I specifically chose Flowers by Eva based on their advertised free local delivery. The purpose of the order was emotionally significant: I wished to send a plant to a dear friend on April 6, 2026, the first anniversary of her husband's passing. Chronology of Events April 1, 2026: Initial Order Placed I placed a detailed order with Flowers by Eva for a medium pink Hydrangea with a small Prayer Plant at its base, scheduled for a 'before 12 noon delivery' on April 6, 2026. After a lengthy call, I was instructed to call back to add a card message. I did so, and after speaking with two additional representatives (the sales representative that took my initial order was unable to come to the phone), and was assured the order details were complete. April 6, 2026, Morning, No Record of Order When I called to confirm my order was out for delivery by 12:00 PM, Flowers by Eva had no record of my order. I was directed to contact Flowers by Ava, then Ava's Flowers Flowers. Neither company had any record of my prior communications. After spending nearly an hour across all three vendors, I returned a call to Flowers by Eva. April 6, 2026, Mid-Morning, Second Order Placed I placed a second order for a medium pink Hydrangea, provided card details, received an order number, and was charged. I was told delivery would occur before close of business that day. April 6, 2026, 2:38 PM, Order Cancelled Without Notice I received an email from Flowers by Eva, stating the order could not be fulfilled due to lack of inventory. By that time, their final delivery of the day had already departed. My offer to pay a courier directly was declined; the representative disclosed that all sales staff are located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with no ability to arrange local delivery. Key Issues 1. Order lost with no accountability: An order placed five days in advance was lost with no notification. 2. Deceptive business structure: Three businesses with near-identical names appear to be operated by a single remote answering service in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with no direct connection to any local Two Harbors, MN florist. 3. No local inventory knowledge: Staff were unable to confirm available inventory and cancelled a confirmed, paid order less than two hours before close of business. 4. No accessible management: Repeated requests to speak with a manager resulted only in voicemail. Resolution Requested I am requesting the following: (1) immediate confirmation that my credit card has been fully refunded for the April 6 charge; (2) a written explanation of the relationship between Flowers by Eva, Flowers by Ava, and Ava's Flowers; and (3) acknowledgment of the service failures described above. I am also sharing this account publicly so that other consumers are aware of these practices before placing time-sensitive orders. Connie C read more

Avas Flowers - The small balloons - Florists Near Me

I am giving Avas Flowers a 1-star rating solely because of their customer service team. I placed an order on July 11th for a flower delivery to a hospital on July 12th. Later that evening, I received an email stating they could not deliver the specific arrangement I selected because it was unavailable. They explicitly stated they could not proceed with the order without hearing back from me to confirm an alternative arrangement and date. From there, we played phone tag. I could never get ahold of them and was constantly placed on hold--even during a scheduled callback where you are not supposed to be put on hold. Because I could not reach a live agent, I attempted to cancel the order. My sister was being discharged on Monday or Tuesday, and I did not want to risk her missing the delivery. Despite my cancellation attempts, I kept receiving automated emails stating they would not take action until someone contacted me.Ultimately, Avas went ahead and delivered the arrangement on Wednesday--after my sister had already been discharged--and charged my account anyway. When I spoke with a customer service agent to resolve the issue, I got nowhere after 10 minutes of talking. I ended up filing a dispute through my credit card company to get a refund. I highly recommend avoiding this company. If you do use them, pray that nothing goes wrong with your order! read more

Service. Value, selection. I ordered large bouquet for my sister's graduation and what she got was not what was ordered and paid for. Called twice and was told both times theywould deliver the correct ones. They were blowing smoke up my kazoo. Shame on them! If there was a zero star available I would select it. Will tell friends and Facebook friends not to order from this company. read more

Total scam. No flowers delivered and they took my money. How is this company still in business?

This is a scam. There was not a person available to talk with. I placed calls, it says you'll receive a call back and hangs up. I didn't ever receive a call back. I used the chatbot, I sent emails, and never received contact. I had to cancel my arrangement and now am scrambling to order flowers for my mom's birthday. I am not confident I will receive the refund they stated I would. I should've looked into them further. read more

I would like to leave a zero star review but I cannot. I tried sending flowers to my wife's hotel room for a nice surprise in Phoenix Arizona. I live in Montana. They could not deliver them the first day. They were impossible to contact via chat or phone. They finally called the next day and offered a partial refund and to deliver the flowers that day. They never delivered them that day either. I didn't care about the cost. I just wanted flowers delivered. I finally got a full refund but my surpise of flowers on her vacation never happened. I wish I had looked at Yelp reviews first. NEVER USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!! I ordered a specific arrangement (pink pastel flowers), my friend's favorite colors, for her birthday. They sent a FALL arrangement, that looked like a $20 arrangement I could buy at the supermarket. I didn't have time on her birthday to call and get the right arrangement sent but called 3 days later and was told because it was more than 48 hours they would only give me a 50% refund. I insisted on at least 75% and they said they had to send my call to the escalation department and instead sent me to the SALES Department who couldn't handle a refund. I was promised a call back within a few minutes but hours later, still nothing. I think they just drag things out so you get so frustrated you give up. STAY AWAY!!! read more

My cousin ordered a bouquet of flowers and balloons to be delivered to a restaurant on a specific day for her daughter's birthday. My cousin and family were visiting me for the weekend and they live 4 hours away. My cousin said she spent lot of time on the phone with the company to assure they had all of the information they needed to make this surprise happen for her daughter. The company had to change the order because they said they didn't have the flowers that were ordered but made the red roses seem like an upgrade. The flowers/balloons were never delivered as promised. A message was sent that now the delivery would not happen for two more days and at that point, my cousin would not be in town anymore. The company offered $10 off the order, then $15 after more pushing (on a $100 order). They asked if I would accept the flowers on my cousin's behalf. Are you kidding? And then what? We pushed harder and they then offered 50% off. We told them we could call the credit card company and contest the charge. They finally conceded and gave a full refund. They could not cancel the delivered and the flowers just arrived at my house. 12 pathetic roses, no filler, no sponge with water around the bottom of the stems, a vase that was way way too wide for the flowers.... and no balloons. I would post a picture if I could. The most pathetic flower bouquet ever. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more

The did not deliver the flowers I ordered and customer service was extremely unhelpful.

Shopping cart can't handle +4 zip codes; throws errors and leaves you to figure out what & where they are. The "small" service charge is actually 50% of your order's pre-tax total. Service is non-existent (not that I ever got to someone in service - I gave up after 15 minutes on hold and the chat bot seemed incapable of connecting me to an actual human). This company makes me wish Yelp allowed for negative stars, or at least 0 stars read more

I'd give a negative -3 stars if I could. I ordered because of price and next day delivery - it was all an internet scam. They had no reason to represent themselves as being able to deliver in that area, nor those products. When notified of the lack of delivery, I had to aggressively insist on a cancellation & refund, which they wouldn't agree to. I'm now expecting to have to dispute the charge via my CC company. read more

This company if I can call it that is worthless. Don't use them if you want your order delivered because it is not going to happen. I messaged them when the order was not delivered when they said it would be. The next day I had a phone call with someone who said she was working for the company. It was so unprofessional the women had a dog barking in the background the whole time I was on the phone with her was for entirely to long. I was promised they would be delivered that night. BS no Flowers. For the amount I paid I would have thought they could have at least deliver the order. If you do decide to use them make sure you have your credit card company on speed dial because you are going to need file a complaint with them to get your money back. read more

I placed an online order for flowers for my daughter. The website offered a coupon for free delivery. When I got to the section to submit the order, it stated the estimated total is $47.99. When I received the email from Avas Flowers, the total was $81.31. I called Avas Flowers to cancel my order and was told I could not cancel the order. I explained how the hidden service fee was not disclosed prior to me submitting the order. I also explained that it did not ask for my credit card yet and I thought I was in the review page to approve it for the credit card information. Ever (Customer Service Representative) stated it always shows the service fee. I do not appreciate the poor customer service and unwillingness to cancel my order. This is totally unacceptable and unfortunately I see many people have experienced this. I wanted to order a sympathy bouquet for a friend of mine. I chose a bouquet and when checking out, saw that there was a $25.00 service fee. That made it more than I wanted to pay, so I called them. I was actually able to talk with someone and she lowered the fee. The bouquet was areound $52.99 on the website but I saw on my credit card statement that I was charged $65.99. My friend sent me a picture of the bouquet set received and it was NOTHING like the one I had ordered. What was delivered was an entirely different bouquet that cost $34.99, and it didn't even have a vase as shown on the website. It was wrapped in paper. I was furious! They are VERRY hard to get a hold of, by email or phone. I did, however, get ahold of someone and she said I would be refunded 50%. Well, I did receive a 50% refund off of the cheaper bouquet, not the more expensive one that I paid for.I have tried to get ahold of them again to complain aabout this but they do not call or email back. they give you a "ticket number" to refer to when they call back, but they siimply do not follow through. I will never do business with this company again. It was completely unsatisfactory in every way, frustrating, time consuming , and too expensive for what I got. Please Please Please....do NOT ever order through this company. They are the worst! I wish I had read the reviews before I placed my order for a dear friend who had a birthday yesterday and never received the flowers I had ordered for her. This is 10000% a scam. I was assisting in ordering flowers for an elderly resident where i work, the checkout process seemed very easy, and we got through it quickly. I double checked all the information and went to process the payment. AFTER processing the payment, I was given an invoice that had a service fee tacked on that was not previously shown to you. A service fee that was almost 50% the price of the flowers. Once realizing that, i immediately tried to cancel them because $86 for a single bouquet of flowers with no vase, is a bit excessive. The cancelling was not a success because i could not reach anyone from their customer service line, so we decided to wait for the flowers to show up. The flowers did not show up so i called again, but to try to speak to a representative is a massive challenge, i got hung up on about a dozen times before someone FINALLY told me they couldn't cancel the order but they'll deliver it today instead. They did deliver the flowers, but not until i spent over 3 hours trying to sort this out. Absolutely unacceptable. The worst customer service i have ever experienced read more

I ordered a specific flower arrangement for a friend who just got out of the hospital after having hip replacement surgery and for a Happy Easter. First problem is that the arrangement was 40.00 and the service fee that was added on after I purchased was 25.00! Seemed like a lot for a service fee which didn't include the delivery charge. It was to be delivered the same day I ordered it. Withing 15 minutes of ordering it I received a text saying it could not be delivered until 4 days later. I called to cancel, which I should have done, but the customer service person offered a discount on a few other options, none of which I was able to preview on their website. Against my better judgement I went with one of those options and was given a 6 discount and told it would be delivered the next day. The next day I received a text that it had been delivered that morning. That evening I texted my friend to see if she recieved it....nope! She is laid up recovering from surgery and can't run around her apartment complex looking for it. I sent a message thru their web site saying it could not be found and all they sent me was the ups delivery confirmation. It wasn't until a friend came over 2 days later and could look around that she found it. My friend sent me a picture thanking me but I was so embarrassed. It looked like a 12.00 bouquet you can pick up at the grocery store. By this point it was past the 24 hours where you can request a refund. By the looks of the other reviews, this happens quite often. So disappointing and sad that we can't trust a florist to delivery what we order to people we cherish. Beware of using this florist! There is no customer service, no communication and they appear to just send whatever they want regardless of what you order. After reading the other reviews, I see that my story is no different. I placed a $100 flower order of white roses and lilies, they sent a $40 orchid. Not even close to what was ordered. I am embarrassed by what the recipient received. There is no customer service either by phone or email. The customer service phone line disconnects after 15 minutes with no option to leave a message. Beware of ordering flowers from online florist AVASFLOWERS! Ordering is done online, and once payment has been received, there is no further communication, no delivery confirmation, no human contact response to calls with inquiries of delivery confirmation, and a remarkable method of discarding requests for response. Mostly bad experience today. Salesperson friendly, but didn't listen well, put down wrong delivery time, surprised me with a $20 "service" fee at the end of a 1/2 hour phone order, (now I know that fee is for 3rd party ordering in Delaware, not San Diego where the florist is.) They left the orchid at the apartment door 7 hours ahead of the agreed upon time the recipient would be home. When I called back to report the mistake, it took another hour of disconnected calls and hold time and miscommunications to say they can do nothing about it, except to report if it is damaged or stolen. They offered a $15 credit. I said I will not be ordering again. They then offered a $15 refund which will take a week. I ordered a Peace Lily, as I wanted a living plant and a plant that had blooms. I understand the substitution policy, but the plant that was delivered was a nice plant, but not anything I would send to express my sympathy.
