Throughout the 5 to 6 months it took to complete (which is incredibly fast for a project this size), he kept the job site completely clean and organized. We developed a special connection with him, including my 4 year old daughter who would look forward to meet him at the job site. What really sets Jamie apart is his honesty and flexibility with the budget. He stuck strictly to his original quote and gladly accommodated our modifications along the way. For example, we asked him to replace tiles in a bathroom that wasn't even in the original contract, and he happily took care of it. He also removed our old fireplace without adding much to the overall cost. One was way above the cost than the others so I ruled that one out. HN Builders and the other company were similar on pricing. I chose to go with Hiep from HN Builders because of all the contractors, he didn't just talk about removing and replacing my roof. He asked me a bunch of questions including about the temperature inside my home, which runs hot during the summer. He suggested I add in a ridge vent to promote more air flow, which we decided to do as well. Hiep also went into detail about the material options and the warranty periods, as well as gave me recommendations on the style of the shingles to match the style of my house. The level of professionalism and insight he was able to share was far above the other contractors. The day the work started, Hiep came out early and laid out a tarp over our porch to protect the area and all of our things that were there. He had a crew of 5 that removed all of the old shingles and laid down the protective barrier and adding the ridge vent. The next 2 days was spent installing the roof. Hiep made sure to send us pictures of the progress along the way and communicate all the details of what was going on and to update us on the condition of the wood underneath the roof, which he said looked good and didn't need to be replaced The final day Hiep came out to do a final clean up to make sure they cleaned up everything..he actually left it cleaner than when it started, which saved me from having to spend a Saturday of my own to clean up.
