I used their service multiple times - they're professional, yet friendly and accommodating. The prices are fair.

Apparently I'm not alone... yet the service department at Honda Ile Perrot always manage to find a little spot in their schedule to fit me in - even when I do call at the last minute. They give you two options: You can drop off your car in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day, or you can wait while they do their thing. I typically opt to wait since it's more convenient than not having a car for the day. What I like about the service is that they have a comfortable waiting room for clients whose cars are being serviced, equipped with a TV, phone, wireless internet, free coffee, magazines, newspapers - even a little play area for kids (if you have them). My wait time is not lost time, since I always plan ahead and bring a book, respond to e-mails or do a little work on my iPad. I also appreciate that if they tell you it's going to take 45 minutes, it actually DOES take 45 minutes. If they find a problem and it means that it will take longer, they come and ask you what you'd like to do. The staff is the service department is amazing: Always very courteous, professional and quick. Definitely bring your Honda there for any service you need done. You won't be disappointed.

All the negative reviews about this spot are there for good reason. They tried to scam me with buying a car with no papers or inspection for 18k. Turns out there was another 2k in repairs that had to be done before it could pass any tests. They are frauds and use cheesy car salesman lines on you to try to convince you. AVOID. Do your research on this place and you will see all the negative reviews. Take your money elsewhere to professionals that won't try to take advantage of you.

If they get along well with the salesperson they encounter, then the experience will be pleasant. If they don't, well... For myself, I've been lucky in that the last 2 cars I bought at Mazda 2-20 were ones I walked in already knowing that I wanted. So it wasn't a matter of haggling over everything, just getting down to business. Of course, ANYONE going to purchase or lease a car should always be ready/ weary to go through the long process of answering all the questions of filling out the necessary paperwork and knowing what options are available to you (especially around insurance and warranties as those are always the ones that take the longest). Beyond that, the other important piece is regular maintenance. On that point, if you are going to the dealer for maintenance, what you really need to do is have a good/ honest relationship with your technical advisor. They are the ones who will help balance what the "required" service dates/ actions are needed against what you as a client need. At Mazda 2-20, my Technical Advisor (Guylain) has been with me for almost 10 years already and she has never steered me wrong. As with all things cars, my advice is to never be shy to ask. Make it clear what you want, need, and are prepared to do/ not do. You don't have to accept everything at face value. Question what you are told, ask for explanations, and don't be shy to speak out if there's something that you're uncomfortable with. And, also, always remember that there are escalation procedures that you can go through should things really not go well.

Upon arrival the car had much lower specs than advertised (no premium package). They claimed it was because the car was newly listed and they had used a generic listing. Meanwhile every other dealer posts *no detailed info* when the car hasn't been processed yet. To me it seemed like an unethical practice just to get people into the showroom to try to upsell a newer model. Totally wasted my time and made me lose faith in this dealer.

After the first visit and $1500 (transfer case "re-seal"), I get a puddle on my driveway. Go back and forth, a BIGGER puddle. Last visit, "Bad news, we have to change your transfer case for $4000; it's part of the process". WTF?!? Call Nissan Canada, "Sorry, your car is no longer under warranty". After much arguing, director MacGregor says he'll refund me my money. A few calls and a week later, sorry can't refund after all. We'll try to change your transfer case as a "goodwill gesture". More than a week later with unanswered emails and phone messages: "still working on it". Go to another garage, they change three seals without removing the transfer case, fixed for $550, no more leaks. Other garage says one of the seals installed by Nissan was damaged during installation, hence the leak. Nissan technical service bulletin TF16-001C NTB17-003C of 16 February 2022 indicates that if a leak emanates from where the drive axle enters the transfer case (as was my case), DO NOT change the transfer case. Seems like fraud to me. Quebec Consumer Protection Office investigation underway. STAY AWAY IF YOUR VEHICLE IS OR ISN'T UNDER WARRANTY.
