It's a good school that I go to. Teachers are nice, well most of them. Sports, good food, and pizza every Friday!!

this school SUCKS!!!! half the teachers are p*dos, (most) the food is bad, and as a student i'm getting disrespected left and right. one student named "sebastian trujillo" he gotta go. The security guards aren't even security guards. kids always be cussing, cracking, smoking, and doing tiktoks in the middle of class. the teachers are given too much freedom and some get too much work!! they fire the good teachers and they keep the bad teachers and they dont even pay their teachers correctly either! most of the teachers actually quit by their pay the schools paint is tearing, and the bathrooms smell like SHIIITTT!! this school has smeared poo and period blood in the girls bathroom the students are messy.. they invade everyones privacy, they also get into ANYONES business!! two students were caught making out in the bathroom. some students carry sharp objects and everyone smoke and vapes! this is from a middle school student and i am TORTURED constantly this school is absolutely HELL!!!!!!!!! overall, this school SUCKS!!! don't bring your students here this place is TRASHED! Sometimes I just dont get why the students at school act so weird all the time. Like, there are these kids who show up in costumes or start random dances in the hallway, and nobody says anything about it. It feels kind of chaotic, you know. The teachers walk by and pretend not to notice, or maybe they just roll their eyes. I think the school administration could step in more, but they dont seem to care as long as it doesnt turn into a big fight or something. Its like theyre too busy with other stuff to handle the small weird things that build up. That part gets a bit frustrating, especially when youre trying to focus on class. read more

This school is terrible, first my kid told me that he saw many of the kids in the classroom playing around cussing at other students and they were just sitting drawing, also yelling, and one student slapped a girl what did the teacher did you might ask, complete nothing she just screamed no wonder why this school is falling apart. read more

this school is absolutely outrageous!(as said from a student in the middle school year) the bathrooms could use some management, there is graffiti on doors, walls, and heck, sometimes toilets! the classes are boring. but the food is good plus teachers that make it lively. but don't get me started on missing things a proper school needs! they don't have a nurse at all! as a student that cares about injures and pain, I'm surprised that this school has made it to 2026! the teachers spam homework assignments and not tell us, some look retired and still working, and they fired teachers that deserve to be there! like my aftercare teacher got fired for asking for a raise(rumors idk) and heard that a good band teacher got fired. sometimes they give good and sometimes bad food but in 5th grade I got food poisoning. the school dress code is maddening too! I got a detention for a id. AN ID?! they take school dress code too seriously and don't care if there are private parts on walls and desks? that's baffling! students cussing a lot in front of innocent children too. there is horrible materials used as paint and peeling off! the teachers barely respond to parents. the leader in me they have? just extra work for students and teachers. parents, don't listen to what the school says. my parents fell for it and now I'm in a mess! save yourself from a headache with students and teachers that cant take care of their own students and enroll your kids in a diffrent school!!!! this is the end of my review. bye! read more

The school is self is an amazing school, but after today the upper school principal Dr. Arlene Valdes, she needs to be fired immediately. She's disrespectful and has a disgusting attitude and does not know how to talk to people. She gave me the nastiest attitude this morning for no reason, and then proceeded to hit my car and scream, while my child and baby are in the car and all she wants to keep saying is OK well I'm the principal and that doesn't mean anything that does not give her the right to put her hands on my car or be screaming in my window at 7 o'clock in the morning. she needs to seriously educate her self or go to anger management because that's not how you talk to people or treat people. If that's how you treat parents at 7 o'clock in the morning, I would hate to see how you would treat my child while at school. read more

If I could give this school a worse rating I would! They are incompetent and extremely below any standards in the school district! The staff does not care about students at all! They have ignored a nephew of mine last year with a broken finger, that happened under their supervision. The staff and teachers are not communicative with parents or students. They will only accept communication through email BUT have failed time and time again to reply to emails. And now this year the bus left the school without my nephew and the school is unwilling to help. Unwilling to speak to the parent of the student. Unwilling to understand how scary this is for parents! Then depending on whom you speak to, the lies do not add up! They even try to blame the student instead of taking accountability for THEIR mistake! Worse part is that the extremely rude and unprofessional young lady who I spoke to (prior to her hanging up on me) said "this happened all the time here. A lot students miss the bus going home after school"! That statement is crazy to me as a parent! If the school is aware of this issue, why not have a plan in place to avoid that from happening? Why not have preventative measures in place? The answer is simple... THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE BECAUSE IT IS NOT THEIR CHILD!!!! The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism from the staff and teachers is unreal. Then the carelessness and indifference toward the students they are suppose to be mentoring and teaching is terrible to witness. This is not a good school overall. I would give it zero stars if I could, administraron does not do their job right. They are constantly firing teachers especially the ones who try their best. It affects our children and the things they are learning. One of my children has had 3 coding teachers, about 4 science teachers, and recently our band director was fired. He is the one always coming up with events and fundraisers to help the music program, the school, and the students. Very disappointing my 5 children will not be coming back next year. read more

This should be a notification to anybody thinking of going to the school . My child's been going there since middle school now in high school to school has failed the parents and the students . The administrators just lied to me this morning there was a student last year that choked a young girl and brought an Orbeez gun to school . They suspended him that child is back in our school and now yesterday on social media was talking about shooting up the school our principal Ms Vasquez has kept it silent from the parents . A mother happened to be in there with her child that was unfortunately in that text message group that had nothing to do with talking about shooting up to school . Now the principal did not have the time to come out and talk to us and the student that was talking about shooting at the school is being dealt with quietly . This is not a quiet situation anybody that reads this and parents that go to that school need to demand answers and expulsion read more

Dear parents this school is absolutely horrid. I have never ever in my 56 years seen a worse school then this, my grandson goes to this school he said was 2 pregnancy tests in the bathroom and it was positive. He told me that girls at this school show off they breasts, so I don't know who gave this school 3 stars this school this school deserves -3 stars so who ever wants to send then angelic kids to this school please don't the teachers and pedos. The students at the school are menaces to society never ever go to this school. There are no extra curricular classes they only limit to 3 and I have never seen worst teachers in my life my grandson comes home crying to me of how bad the school is he finds roaches and the lunch is horrible. Committed and passionate teachers. They have lifted the school grade to an A. They teach values, too.

I can't believe the school is located where it is right on the train tracks on Dixie highway. I watch children every day walking down Dixie highway in the middle of the road because there is no sidewalk for them. They literally have to walk between the train tracks and a major road. I have never seen a crossing guard, I have witnessed these children almost get hit numerous times. I can't believe The city of Hollywood with a lower school to be a built in a location like this, and not forcing this school to take measures to protect their students. read more

A very stressful work environment additionally it does not offer the curriculum that a normal school would normally do especially in the high school. With the new Administration that has been running to school the past 3 years, music which was the reason why the school was well known now no longer exist, teacher retention is low, and good coaches leave every year. Example; They fired the best teacher at the school which was the music director, the new music director quit before the school year began, the football coach who coached an undefeated season quit working and coaching for the school. All the students has become a numbers game, the school is extremely overcrowded to ensure that they get the money from the state, and then they start kicking students out of the school after they get it. Many of the teachers are not qualified to teach the subject areas, especially in the AP and honors classes. They keep pushing this program called Leader in Me, which in reality means nothing when you go to college. Facilities are subpar. Poor construction, students are vandalizing the walls and tearing them apart due to the poor materials. The first week of school like the last few years has been an absolute mess, they don't give you your schedule ahead of time, and when you do finally get your schedule many of the kids are still missing classes. Then they toss all the kids in the gym until they can find classes for them. read more

If I could give this school 0 stars I would. Horrible school. I tried my very best to give this school the benefit of the doubt but each year it gets worst. If your child is a minority especially black don't send your child to this school. My daughter has been here since kindergarten which was excellent by the way...1 grade was good...then second and 3rd was trash! I can't tell you how many teachers she's been through this year in math class alone. The principal doesn't communicate (Mr. Rivera) in fact I'm still waiting to hear from him but I won't hold my breath. It really is a hit or miss with the teachers...some communicate others don't. If your child needs any assistance don't expect the teachers to help. I am very involved parent and I have seen first had how some of the facility watch students struggle with certain assignments and won't attempt to help or even reach out the parents. In the beginning I recommended this school to so many of my colleagues but since then then most of them have pulled their children out and so have I. I promise I wouldn't even send my dog here. Like any school for the most part, depends on the teachers that you get. My 3rd grader has THE best teachers ever! They are super dedicated, go above and beyond and push the students to their full potential. It's a newer school so from time to time there are administrative organization issues, but the good definitely outweighs the bad. read more

I had no choice but to give this school one star. No stars is more accurate. First off. They have issues with bullying. As with any school but there's no conflict resolution at all. When you try to contact a staff member or principal (Joel Mesa) never responds. I did receive correspondence from the guidance counselor and he did seem genuine when helping my child out. But it seemed to keep my child's bully away for a few weeks. No one seems to care until something happens to one of these children. Aside from bullying issues the teachers are very unprofessional and cannot decipher when they should or should not say things in front of the class. I have on more than a few occasions emailed certain teachers with no response but from one. These children by far may not be the easiest to deal with but as a teacher if you can't properly handle what you have been trained to handle then teaching should not be your profession. I have been told several times and seen video of what these teachers say and do in class. The children all complain about being bored. They're not being challenged and seem to only attend school for preparation of testing. God forbid your child has a health condition the teachers aren't very sympathetic at all. Until you have to behave like an idiot is when they seem to understand. I'm looking for a different school for my child because this is stressing our family out. The principal is one of the WORST I have seen to date and if you intend on bringing your kid to this school please do your research and think twice! BULLYING, BELITTLING BY THE TEACHERS, NO PARENT TEACHER COMMUNICATION AT ALL, and to add insult to injury the front office staff are unprofessional. Parents beware!!!!!! read more
