You walk in to see a cute little garden/backyard feel, listening to some awesome music. As we walked in we were greeted with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. What an awesome layout of furnishing art. From the swings, to the chandeliers, which were all gorgeous, I was in aw at how beautiful it all was. The telephone booth was my favorite. The food was great too. We were served ceviche, croquettes, tacos and these awesome battered shrimp. This venue would be great for any private event. I hope to come back for another one soon.

From what I understand you can rent this location for events, to sleep in, and it is used as a venue for Art Galleries as well. The layout is spaced out and the decor is refreshing. It is definitely different and a great place to hold events. The outside garden/backyard area is great to have an outside bar and goes well with the inside vibe. I am not sure about the process on how to rent this location, being I was just a guest. However, it looks family oriented and easy to work with. I am excited to visit Wynwood Lab again the next time I am in Wynwood or thinking about having an event.

So, this is a bit of a complex review to write because the take-away is that I loved my visit, but…read morethe experience left me wanting more, mainly because the subject matter of the main exposition was just not my cup of tea, but I can see how it would appeal to the Miami community because of their love for sports. The setting and location could not be better - totally breathtaking. Views of the causeway and Biscayne Bay / Downtown Miami are amazing. The architectural details with concrete and MCM inspired wooden accents are just perfect. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and definitely added to our experience, and the gift shop is great. The restaurant is excellent and has a thoughtful menu, with several items that are inspired by pieces from the permanent collection. The sports art exhibit took much more space than I would have liked. There is a LOT of money in Miami, and I would have expected a permanent collection or even visiting exposition that would rival museums in New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC. - modern art, Impressionism, renaissance, or other fine art would be incredible. That being said, I will definitely return to enjoy the museum, and look forward to seeing where their artistic directors take things in years to come!

If you haven't been to Cubaocho, have you really been to Little Havana or Calle Ocho?…read more This cultural institution is the most fun place you can go to in any time of the day including the morning. You will most likely encounter blaring Cuban music either from speakers or a live band throughout the bar and restaurant that are heavily decorated with Cuban memorabilia. There is so much chaos in the decor, but it's hard to care since you have so much to do. You obviously need to get a Mojito or three, and fall into step with all the other patrons who will inevitably begin dancing if they aren't already dancing. Whatever drinks with rum or tequila and fresh fruit juices that your taste buds fancy, the bar will make it happen for you. If you're on a crawl of Calle Ocho or are looking for an excuse to do so, make sure to come by here for the before, during or after! I'll see you there.

Vintage Sinatra photo over the secondary bar. There are cool paintings and memorabilia to see all over this spacious bar/restaurant/musuem/performance center/cigar store. Very eclectic place to visit. We hit up this place during happy hour. From 4-8 PM, they have $6 beers, $8 Cuba Libres, $10 Mojitos and croquetas. They are very friendly inside and the paintings are vibrant and fun. We were told that all the paintings inside are for sale. They had a wonderful four man band playing music at the front. We had beers before dinner and more here after dinner. I would definitely visit here again during happy hour. Give yourself some time to explore all the paintings and memorabilia in here. A very fun, eclectic place.
