On the day of our shoot, my husband woke up very sick. He wanted to cancel but I begged him to hang in for a few hours until our session was complete. He agreed but he was irritable the whole time. Our son was cranky and teething and hadn't slept through the night for at least a week. Plus we had just partied for three days with out friends at our family beach house in Moss Landing so I was super tired! To top it off, the weather on the afternoon of our shoot was unforgiving. When Rachel arrived we sort of rushed her through our session because we all wanted to get back home to the Bay. I figured we wouldn't get a lot of good shots but if we got at least a few it wouldn't be wasted effort. She was gracious and patient and gave us just the right amount of direction that we needed since my husband and I feel super awkward in front of the camera. Despite giving her zero workable material, the photos came out gorgeous! (And we received them in a week!) I couldn't believe it. She made something out of nothing and now we have these beautiful and precious photos of our family to cherish forever. We will definitely be using Rachel again! We are so so full of gratitude!

I probably searched 15 or 20 websites before I got to Robert's, and then I saw one completely perfect photo, and that's when I knew, Robert was the one. We conversed via email on the details, and I booked him for the day of the event. Because I'm a good 3-5 hours away, I lost my cool when upon a week prior all the news said showers, Robert was quick to settle my pre-event nerves, and assured me that things would be beautiful For the shoot itself, Rob was easy to work with, and had multiple cameras with filters, lenses and effects. He had beautiful suggestions on placement and ideas, and after the initial awkward few minutes, we got our bearings on poses, and it came naturally. After the shoot, it was a very long time for me to hear back from him, but he eventually sent me the email for accessing the photos. I was absolutely thrilled until I saw that they were the lo-def versions with watermarks. I had thought that our cost to book him included the access to the photos to use and download, but he let me know to actually access the photos on CD would be additional fees. This frustrated me, but he had me at that point because I had seen the photos, and was completely in love with them, so I had to cave. That said, they were worth every penny. The photos that we decided on were flawless. They captured our emotions, beautiful angles, and the essence of us as a couple. He is obviously incredibly talented, check his website, and you'll see what I mean. Beautiful photos staring you and your loved ones, that seem to stop time with their decadent lighting and effortless grace? Now that's something to Yelp about!
