Upon the impending arrival of a very important event, I did what any good Elite Yelper would do, and scoured the Yelpsphere for someone to document the occasion, and that's how I found Robert. I probably searched 15 or 20 websites before I got to Robert's, and then I saw one completely perfect photo, and that's when I knew, Robert was the one.
We conversed via email on the details, and I booked him for the day of the event. Because I'm a good 3-5 hours away, I lost my cool when upon a week prior all the news said showers, Robert was quick to settle my pre-event nerves, and assured me that things would be beautiful
For the shoot itself, Rob was easy to work with, and had multiple cameras with filters, lenses and effects. He had beautiful suggestions on placement and ideas, and after the initial awkward few minutes, we got our bearings on poses, and it came naturally.
After the shoot, it was a very long time for me to hear back from him, but he eventually sent me the email for accessing the photos. I was absolutely thrilled until I saw that they were the lo-def versions with watermarks. I had thought that our cost to book him included the access to the photos to use and download, but he let me know to actually access the photos on CD would be additional fees. This frustrated me, but he had me at that point because I had seen the photos, and was completely in love with them, so I had to cave.
That said, they were worth every penny. The photos that we decided on were flawless. They captured our emotions, beautiful angles, and the essence of us as a couple. He is obviously incredibly talented, check his website, and you'll see what I mean.
