I was able to get An appointment, the receptionist was super helpful and the wait was within 15 minutes of my appointment even though there were many people in the waiting room. The tech who did my scan asked me questions, explained the process and asked me to wait after to ensure the scan was good and the initial reading didn't show anything concerning. I appreciated that very much. The results were uploaded to MyChart within the hour. Very efficient and nice people. Because I went in within 2 hours of my appointment, the insurance had not approved my test. They waited until the last minute to see If it would be approved and gave me the option to pay out of pocket or reschedule. I didn't have time or want to risk having a problem, so unpaid out of pocket and will working out with my insurance. They were very upfront about it and I liked having the option.

I used to work in healthcare. I know emergency rooms are stressful, unpredictable places. That said, I was put on a bed in the hallway for my entire visit. No room. No curtain. No privacy. No TV. Just me, my migraine, and the hallway. Even the ER at RWJ Somerset gave me my own little curtained-off area with a TV. I never thought I would find myself nostalgically reminiscing about an ER curtain, but here we are. I was given medication through an IV that did help my migraine, but it also made me extremely jittery -- to the point that after I was discharged, I was having a very difficult time functioning normally. Obviously, I understand that medications can have side effects. What bothered me more was how little support I felt I received around it. The interaction with the doctor was also unnecessarily unpleasant. I asked, very politely, "Can I have a head CT?" His response was: "I just said that." Listen. I know patients can be difficult. I know healthcare workers get tired, overwhelmed, and frustrated. I've worked in healthcare myself. But I wasn't yelling, demanding anything, or being disrespectful. I was sick, scared, and asking an innocent question nicely. There was absolutely no reason to speak to me that way. After I got home, the jitteriness was still significant, so I called the ER hoping to ask whether there was anything over-the-counter I could take or whether a prescription could be called in to help with the reaction. No one answered the phone. So, in summary: impressively short wait, hallway accommodations, zero privacy, medication that left me feeling worse in an entirely new and exciting way, a rude interaction with the physician, and then no one available when I called for guidance afterward. Hopefully there won't be a next time. But if there is, I'll be going to Cooperman in Livingston instead. One star for getting me in quickly. I would have preferred to wait a little longer and be treated like a person.

In the past I've had to wait over two hours for simple check ups. I had an IUD inserted after the birth of my second child, it's been almost five years since I had it put in. Now I'm ready to have it removed, I booked an appointment two weeks ago. Although we had the bad weather yesterday, I understand businesses are dealing with power outages, etc. but I showed up to my appointment, called to let them know I had arrived and was told to go inside to sign in. I went to the door and it was locked? I called again thinking they had to open it, no answer. I called again and after five minutes of waiting on the phone they tell me the office is closed! She couldn't have told me that when I first called five seconds prior? You'd think they would call their patients to let them know of the situation. All in all - don't waste your time here.

After I finished the paperwork and returned it to the desk staff, already annoyed by them so rudely making my daughter leave the building, they informed me they couldn't do the exam my daughter was in need of We were made to wait in our car. My daughter's appointment was 2:45pm. At 4pm I made my daughter go into the building and ask what was taking so long (As calling this PP location is a waste of time because you're directed to a central appointment booking location and not the Morristown PP location itself) and if she could use the restroom. She never returned. They had taken her into be seen but NO STAFF MEMBER had called me to advise me of this I was about to go see where my daughter was, but she had text messaged me. Informing me they had taken her in for her appointment. my daughter also informed me we waited so long because the desk staff had forgotten to give the nurses in the back the new patient forms I was all mama bear by now! They only did one out of three gynecological healthcare procedures we'd asked an appointment for. Making me furious as my daughter was having a semi serious medical issue at that moment, that they informed me they would check on. They never did! My daughter came out not even a half hour later. Confused about almost everthing the nurses and doctor had told her. Not one STAFF MEMBER called me to inform me of what was done or what information was given to my daughter We won't be returning here. I advise anyone with a minor child not to go to this PP location. My daughter is a minor and they absolutely went against OSHA regulations. I should've been able to have stayed with my daughter because she's a minor. But I was absolutely banned from being with her. She was a nervous wreck. Not being with her just scared her more. I advise anyone that's looking for a gynocologist thats good with minors, even if the travel is farther then this PP location, to travel! They are I'll equipped to handle minors. I miss the Dover PP location. They knew what they were doing!

On election day, Tuesday, November 5, I showed up for my scheduled appointment. I was greeted at the desk, paid my fee, and escorted into the treatment room where a staff member took my blood pressure, pulse and temperature. I was then told to wait for the physicians. About 25 minutes later one of the physicians came in and told me that the supervising physician was not in, as he was out working on an election campaign and I would not be treated. She told me that they are sorry. I think that MFM should hold itself to the same standards it holds patients to, which would be to give a rebate to patients when I physician is a no call no show. This is unprofessional.

I was told I could not come in, had a virtual appointment, and was sent for a covid test. I went and one week later got a negative result but by then my symptoms were gone - I had basically just been told to stay in bed with a 105 degree fever until it passed. The other day I called with the IDENTICAL SET Of symptoms and explained how this just happened two months ago and the whole saga. I was once again told I could not make an in person appointment. I went to MedExpress and within 5 minutes of listing the IDENTICAL SET of symptoms was sent inside for a urine sample and given a prescription for an antibiotic for a kidney infection. A kidney infection wasn't even MENTIONED as a possible diagnosis on my virtual appointment. I know Covid is out there and a major concern -- however, not everything is Covid related. Patients should be given a fair chance at a real diagnosis and not be left to fend for themselves. I am disappointed as I expected better from an Atlantic Health System office. I will be finding another PCP.

I had my mri on disc with me but she refused to even look at it. She summarily dismissed me after waiting 4 HOURS TO BE SEEN and I never saw the surgeon just the PA. I am now seeing surgeons for adult scoliosis surgery. I guess my scoliosis curve didn't show up on her lousy x-ray. That's a 45 degree curve mind you! Talk about incompetence. I have never seen a PA without seeing the surgeon too. Now my curve is worse than when I went to the Advanced Spine Center. I guess their name really means we won't help you unless your spinal deformity is so advanced that you can barely walk. What a huge miss. How AI keeps generating this practice as a top option for adult scoliosis surgery must be a glitch of some sort. It can't be for real. And what kind of sense does it make to have your patients who are in excruciating pain wait 4 hours to SEE THE PA NOT EVEN THE SURGEON! I did ask a couple of times while I was waiting how much longer it would be and the really rude receptionist kept saying "it shouldn't be much longer". I guess I'm the idiot for believing her. I would have left but I had already invested so much time in waiting, I was sure if I left it would have been just that minute before they called my name. So I stayed. If you're being referred to this group I have to wonder who referred you and how much confidence you should have in that referring physician if they think these guys are really great. Trust me these guys pale by comparison to the truly competent surgeons out there. I MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I scheduled my appointment online the day before, having already researched the typical cost for the shot I needed. Keep in mind, the only disclosure I saw online was a $90 cancellation fee. When I arrived, I was shocked to learn that the cost for the shot was three to four times higher than at other clinics. This information was only disclosed to me AFTER a so-called "consultation" that I never requested. I was there solely for the shot, but was told I owed a $130 consultation fee, despite leaving without receiving the service I actually came for. To make matters worse, when I called the office seeking understanding, I was called not on the office recorded line, but by the office manager's cell phone, with complete indifference. She told me that they sent a text message the morning of the appointment, which said the cost of the visit; this is a lie. I never received this text message stating the charges I would have to pay. Either way, it's sneaky of a business to surprise you with that kind of charge right before hand, (being as though if you opt to cancel, you will STILL BE CHARGED $90). This office operates as a total hustle. Now they have $130 of my money, and all I left with was a folder of information I didn't ask for. It's disheartening to experience such LACK of transparency and care. Businesses that operate this way should be ashamed of themselves and the way they corner people into paying them money.
