Easy to get an appointment and Marshall's was here Thursday morning, bright and early. These are the unsung heroes doing these dirty essential jobs. Glad to have them. I didn't catch the fellow's name, but he was very nice and in no time was able to find the septic tank. 1000 whatevers and we're good to go for another thousand years. Price was surprisingly inexpensive though I don't know what the going rate to get your septic tank cleaned these days. Great experience while in quarantine. I decided to go with "Cured-In-Place Pipe" because it only requires a single hole approximately 2'x4' instead of a trench through my landscaping that would cut very big tree roots since the trench would have been within five feet of four very large trees. Replacing the pipe would also have left three feet of my old (orangeburg) pipe from curb to the city connection, unless willing to pay an additional thousand dollars for 3 more feet. Ryan and two crew members showed up at the scheduled 7 AM time and did an excellent job. Finishing around 2:30 PM after the city inspector approved the work. Ryan and his crew were professional and careful with all the landscaping. They installed a new ABS cleanout, backfilled and cleaned up the work area beautifully.
